Not dependable

There's too much spyware installed in this sound bar. The cast feature never works right. Have had to factory reset so many times. Do not buy Vizio. I've learned my lesson.

Delay, rattling subwoofer, bad customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this system thinking a vizio sound system would work well with our vizio v-series tv. Right away, there was a horrible audio delay that could only be fixed by setting our cable box to be stereo instead of surround. Whenever the cable box was set to surround, it would cause the system to have a delay even when we weren't using the cable box (streaming, blu-ray player). Instead of fixing anything, Vizio support sent us THREE separate replacements, and each one of them had the same problem. With each replacement, also came a broken subwoofer that rattled whenever almost anything went through it. We are getting our money back and going with a different system.

Sound Bar Stopped working after 2 years

The subwoofer is still powering on. The sound bar has been in a fixed spot for the entire time. I have no children nor pets, so it is not an issue of physical damage to the unit or its power cord. The bar just suddenly stopped providing audio while watching the news. All reset option failed. Vizio tech support was unable to provide any fix and suggested that I buy a new speaker set. Needless to say, I'm furious.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyday i have to unplug a cord and plug it back in so it turns on since the power button on the sound bar and remote don’t turn on the soundbar... this is very frustrating since i have a remote to use, but it DOESNT EVEN WORK. I eventually am able to turn it on but the fact that i have to unplug a cord to turn it on is beyond me. I would not recommend this sound bar to anyone.

Do not waste your money!

I’ve had to resort to unplugging the whole thing and waiting a minute then plug it back in just so it will turn on. (As recommended by vizio customer service) It’s such a pain. Vizio customer service is poor. Just spend a little more to get something that actually works. Not my first poor experience with vizio products. I don’t plan on buying any more of thier garbage.

Insignificant Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This sound bar and surround sound were an insignificant purchase for me as I also got the Vizio HD 4K television. The subwofer/ back speakers and the soundbar did not stay synced well, and made very little difference when it did work. It was actually difficult for anyone else and myself to tell whether the surround system was plugged in our not. There are a lot of other sound systems that you can get for this amount of money that you will at least notice is hooked up to your TV.

Unsyncs all the time & randomly turns on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I did thorough research and my friend has a different vizio setup but my soundbar/surround sound constantly unsyncs to what we’re watching and we always need to frustratingly resync to match the visuals. Also the speaker sometimes will randomly turn on which is alarming. My friend’s other model doesn’t do this at all... is this a bug? I got this as a gift feel bad for gifting this terrible experience on someone else.
