Extremely hard to view, and I have an older model of this that has the same exact remote. For the technology we have available today, this should have been an upgrade

I do wish the rear satellites were wireless but that would require either replaceable or rechargeable batteries so having wired satellites isn’t terrible. Very nice sound and room filling bass from the sub. The app is very useful for dialing in the sound for your particular setup.

Only issue I have is connecting to the Vizio smartcast app on my phone, which isn't that important. Sub produces lots of bass.. and Bluetooth connectivity is an excellent option.

My larger, 5-year-old soundbar stopped working after a lightning storm and would no longer turn on. I bought this as a replacement, but the sound is not as great as my older model. It also turns off after 5 minutes of paused television. Sometimes the subwoofer will come back on when I turn the volume up but, most of the time, I have to manually turn the subwoofer back on. I had to fiddle around with the settings to get the sound right, but I had to do that with my previous 2 Vizio's, as well. Overall, it does have a good sound, but the quickness to turn off, even after changing the settings to not do so, is annoying.

Budget sound system

One thing is very important... the power supply is susceptible to power surges so a good surge protector is a must!

Sound quality is great. But when using with TV via HDMI ARC, it sleeps frequently and causes the video to black out

I tried so many before I finally decided on this one, to me, it beat out the Polk, Sony, and Samsung easily. The only one that I thought was better was the Klipsch that comes with a subwoofer. But comparing $600 to $215, it makes sense. For the price of the Vizio, it beat out all of the others around the $300 range.
