i absolutely love my vizio soundbar, it doesnt matter if im watching something of the Roku, TV, or BluRay. i've been using vizio soundbars for a few years now, i have to say out of all the soundbars i had in those few years, the 2017 model is my favorite. so if anyone is looking for a soundbar i definitely recommend this one.

Picked this up during Cyber Monday in 2019. These work great. The subwoofer can have connection problems with soundbar if they are placed more than 6-7ft apart. It has heavy bass and the satellite speakers are good after you turn them up in volume a bit. Soundbar sound is perfect. Don’t get this if you plan on using it for pass through. It only passes up to 1080p @ 60hz, 4K won’t work, not even 4K @ 30hz. If you’re just using it for audio purposes, it’s a good purchase.

Movie soundtracks are greatly improved over the tv audio. Not quite as good as my older 5.1 Dolby system. However it is very easy to setup and use. Most will be happy with the compromise.

Fantastic home entertainment center. Love the 5.1 channels. Did my homework and this Vizio ranked high. Great Sound plus I can control the whole system from TV to Movie to music. Best Buy had it installed professionally. Word of advice have the installer show you how to use the remote. Very Happy

Finally time to retire the old surround sound system and this sound bar fit my needs perfectly. Added benefit with the HDMI cable that allows me to turn the tv on and it turns the sound bar on. It also allows you to control volume with the tv remote. The only downside is the rear speakers needs more volume and need to be wireless. You have to go up to almost twice the cost to get that feature. If you need more volume and great tone quality that a flat screen tv just can't produce this is a great buy for the dollar.

I already had the smaller Vizio 5.1 system for my living room TV, and knew how great it sounds, so I picked up this one too go with my projector. It was a ten minute setup, and the Chromecast was a great bonus. I can just ask Google for music, and it plays without turning on the projector.

I bought on bf sale so it is ok for that price.I would not recommend if its price is above 180. Bluetooth connection is not quite good and takes warm up time to start.It needs several restarts before it starts outputting sound from inputs.

The VIZIO - SmartCast 5.1 Channel Sound Bar System with 5-1/4" Wireless Subwoofer - purchased was a great value. It has very good sound at a reasonable price.

This sound bar delivers great sound. The setup was a bit difficult, and trying to modify settings is also a bit difficult. I still don't have the sound set up to its optimum.

Setting up this sounder system was pretty easy especially with the wireless subwoofer. Placement is versatile. Sound quality is good and the subwoofer puts out plenty of bass.

Like the sound and looks for the price and so easy setup with Visio tv found nice bar to hang sound bar right on bottom of tv looks good sound great

The sound quality is awesome, the Connectivity is awesome, having chrome cast built in is awesome but it cuts off randomly, I've tried multiple speakers, and TV's, I've tried HDMI, BT and Optical, all sound formats and re flashing old, and new firmware, different cables nothing prevents the issue! no resolution from VIZIO no solutions at all. again the sound is awesome if only there was a fix, unit then i can't recommend t.

Great sound for the price, true surround option. Only issue is lack of options in power management and slightly older technology when it comes to bluetooth.

Easy to set up. It sometimes drops out, but I’m not 100% certain if that’s the system or my settings. Good item for the price. Sound quality is good.

This is my second Vizio sound bar. I have one in our winter home, so when I upgraded to a 65-inch TV in our summer home and realized how poor the speaker quality is, I looked for another Vizio 5.1 bar. The system installed easily with just the included remote, though I could have downloaded an app to my smartphone to help. The sync signal from the TV turns on the sound bar when I turn the TV on. The only negative I've noticed is that the volume level occasionally changes during channel change (which may be partially the station's fault). I don't use (and didn't set up) the Chromecast function or the bluetooth function (though I use the bluetooth capability in my other Vizio soundbar and it works just fine.

System Integration with Vizio TV isn't in the cards for this soundbar. I've spoken to two different Vizio Techs and they can't solve the problem. Performance is out of this world but for one glitch. I can use my Comcast or Vizio TV remote to turn both the TV and Soundbar on and off. But later the Soundbar comes alive. Only solution - before turning off the TV/Soundbar run the volume to zero (0) so when the Soundbar does come back on you won't hear it. If you see the light on the Soundbar is lighted simply use the Soundbar remote to turn it off.

Each one that i looked at has the ability to do the same job, but this one is not as "pretty" but the sound is good enough, not the best, but -- enough.

Speaker and woofer is so good except the volume is not turning on as soon as the tv is on. Quality of the sound makes other people to ask which brand it is

Ill Be honest at first i was leary about buying this sound bar being that it was a Vizio brand. However I have been impressed by the Sound. Clear and bass is good plus the fact i can Bluetooth my music now is amazing. Def recommend this to anyone looking for a good sound at a reasonable price

Thoroughly enjoying and comes with anything you might need! Easy set up as well! Sometimes takes a second to reconnect when goes into sleep mode.
