Place the large soundbar under the TV, then the subwoofer and rear speakers behind you. The rear speakers are wired to the subwoofer, but that three piece system is connected wirelessly to the soundbar. Took all of five minutes to set up! The remote has a small screen on it that shows you - with words - what function you're on and associated levels. Note, it comes with wall mounts for both the bar and rear speakers, but I added speaker stands. Easy to do, and sounds great!

This set of speakers can be installed to operate like a surround sound system. It gets along well with our new smart TV, as well as the DVD player, and OLD VHS player as well.

This was the most cost effective 5.1 surround sound system in the store. Setup was quick and easy although of you want wireless rear speakers, this is not the kit for you.

Wont stay connected to our tv for some reason. Not a fan of the wires.

Works well. Sound is great. Sometimes shuts off while watching TV, but minor issue.

Sounds great. You can fine tune different sound ranges unlike many sound bars in this price range. Comes with speaker wall mounts which is nice. The remote display is very difficult to read and the Bluetooth streaming volume is real jumpy with an iPhone. I’d recommend this Vizio over any 2.1 or 3.1 in the same price range. It sounds better than most other bars priced $300 to $500.

This system is being used to provide a listening experience in a smaller room. The ease of setup was great, the lack of wiring superb, and the effect is tremendous.

I wish it was easier to set up as far as the sound. I don't like the remote.

Wanted to like this system. Having read many great reviews, tried every variable I could find to tweak the sound. In the end I gave up and chalked it up to my hearing and sound preference. Gave it 3 stars because it's so easy to set up and use. The tonal profile just didn't work for me.

I really like this Soundbar from Vizio and definitely recommend to anyone who loves Music or just for watching movies/Netflix. The 5.1 effect is awesome with great Bass!!

The best sound quality I've seen. It turned my house into a movie theater. And if you like games the the sound makes it feel like your in the game!!

I’m really enjoying this sound at setup so far. Compared to my tinny TV speakers, this is quite an upgrade. Honestly, the main attraction to these set for me was the option to use digital out. Most TVs have only optical out now, and I have one that’s just old enough to not have that :( The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is no individual control of the channels, it’s kind of all or nothing.

I have been using this for a month, and it is pretty good quality for the price. Lets see how long it lasts... On a side note, be aware that BestBuy will ship this in the original packaging material, not in another box. When the product arrived the box was dented and torn up. Good thing VIZIO has good packaging in their boxes and the product was not damaged.

We needed something extra for our Vizio 42 inch TV in the bedroom. easy to install, great sound. Mounts on the wall quickly and easily. I will get one for my other bedroom now!

The sound is really good. Really like the wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers and setup was a piece of cake. Really like all the cables that were included as well.
