Kind of a pain. The Visio sound bar I had before this one turned on automatically with the TV.

Posted .Hello Skip, if you have the VZtv Rmt feature ON you will be able to use the VIZIO remote to turn the sound bar on by pressing the volume up button.

Not high end but also not high end price. For this price it’s a great value. Wireless Subwoofer and rear 2 speakers really offer a true surround sound.

Would have given 5 stars but had issues with set up when using with satellite receiver and xbox. I ended up using the optical link to get sound because I could not get 4k on Xbox with traditional set up. Otherwise, great system.

This has worked but sometimes the voices can seem a little muffled. Overall it has been good for what we needed it for.
