Awesome sound with no distortion. Easy set up with HDMI cable.

This a great sound bar for the price. The subwoofer has strong bass. We watched Transformer and we could feel the bass through the floor.

Easy setup did not have to sync. Very First Soundbar and I have no complaints. I got it on sale and I would suggest getting any soundbar from Vizio on sale. I do have a Vizio TV and that is why it worked for me because the TV remote turns everything on and off. I would suggest if you have a Vizio TV. No more wires to 5 speakers anymore.

Starting off, best purchase I've ever made. Paired with a fresh TV and some new hit movies, you will want to stay home. The sound bar links easily to the wireless sub and pod speakers. I myself have not used the BT pairing features but have enjoyed the Chromecast capability to just stream music. Only 4 stars because you may have to reset the sound bar to resync the system. I've only had this happen twice.

First off, I absolutely never write reviews on products. I’ve had this sound system for 3 weeks now and the sound system sounds amazing. However, the system is constantly disconnecting and it is very frustrating. I’m planning on returning the system. The HDMI ARC sucks! When I turn off my TV the soundbar turns off too. However, when I turn the TV on the soundbar does not turn on TV. I have to locate the vizio remote to turn the system on. I rather have a system that is reliable then having a system that is inconsistent. Imagine enjoying a movie and the system is constantly turning off. Please if you are reading this do not purchase this item. It’s a shame because the system does sound great when it is working properly.

Sounds great but sometimes has connectivity issues. Whether it be connecting to my phone, the internet, or the wireless subwoofer and rear speakers, this thing can be buggy. But it’s an excellent price and rarely has had issues. It’s hard to connect the phone to it to change tuning settings, but other than that it’s very good. Just don’t turn it up beyond 3/4 cause it sounds distorted.

Couldn't ask for better on the sound bar. We went through 2 sound bars and 1 5.1 channel home theatre system before we decided to try these. Best money ever spent. Gave us the rich deep sound we were looking for. We put the speakers on the wall first then moved them to the speaker stands and,the speaker stands are much better. We finally go the home,theatre look and sound we wanted. This sound bar rocks. With the real subwoofer being wireless and the speakers plugging dire you into the subwoofer you get perfect sound. As an added bonus the remote shows,you what listening mode you are in and providers an easy sound configuration setup. Well worth every penny.

Looking at many sound bars whet got my attention was the price and 5.1 channels, easy set up and great sound, make sure to place your speakers in a good possition

Purchased this soundbar to pair with my Vizio P65. Setup was a breeze and getting the subwoofer and rear speakers paired was seamless. The soundbar looks good mounted to the wall under the TV, and the sound from the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear satellite speakers is pretty good based on the price of the unit. I highly recommend downloading the Vizio Smartcast app to tweak the settings on the soundbar. It is much easier, not to mention faster, to fine tune the soundbar using the app on your phone instead of the remote. I was pleased with the improvements to the overall sound quality after I spent some time working with the settings.

I actually bought the 2.1 Visio sound bar first, but I liked it so much that I returned it. If you’re reading this you might say to yourselves “Thats weird, why would he do that?” Well let me tell you, it is because I upgraded. I got this 5.1 sound bar instead and I like it a lot, good quality material, good sounding bass. I bought it on sale for a very good price, you won’t find a better sound bar at this price point . It’s got a little quirks that I don’t like but I’m sure it’s not the sandbars fault, seven bars in general most likely do these things. It’s too complicated to explain so we’ll just leave it at that !...

Pretty easy to install. Great sound and bass. Might upset the neighbors but who cares when I’m hearing gunshots and explosions all around me on my couch!! Good overall value

I have a big home theater sound system for my living room, but I wanted to upgrade the sound from my Samsung TV in my bedroom. Honestly, I usually stick to the bigger brands when it comes to audio equipment, but after reading reviews for this sound bar, I decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad I did! The sound is powerful and natural, and really a big boost over what was coming out of the TV. I'm sure if you spent a whole lot more you could get better sound, but for the price it can't be beat. A couple of notes: 1. This actually comes with two small wired rear speakers that attach to the wireless subwoofer. I was a little hesitant to get a soundbar with rear speakers, but the wires were long enough that there was a lot of flexibility for placing them. Having actual rear speakers does help enhance the fullness of the sound. 2. I am using the HDMI-ARC input for the sound - it works great, but I did need to initially adjust the audio delay settings to make sure there wasn't any sync issues. 3. I also have Google Homes/Google Home Minis that I use, and so it was a great added bonus that I could set this up to cast sound and so I can easily use voice commands to stream to it.

Sound quality is very good, how loud the speaker can get is also impresive, but combined with its sub, it is an absolute killer, i have 1 in a small room and while it dosent perform the same in larger rooms, you can't beat its quality for the price. I dont like that the sub does not connect to the speakers sometimes even doe there both liked and on. And some other small details but those others are up to me based on how i want it set up.

This Visio sound bar with surroundsound performs well and above a lot of other sound bars I have used in my lifetime. It’s easy application and installation made for a quick set up of my home theater. If you were looking for some bass and some higher quality vocalization that you would not find from your TV speakers then this is perfect for you if you are on a budget. The bass packs a punch while also the clarity from the regular speakers make it a huge upgrade. I would recommend this to anyone that would like a good priced surround system.

Bought the sound bar when I purchased the TV. Came as a package deal with $50 bucks off the sound bar. Works and sounds great with my 65" TV. I thought the TV sound was just fine on it's own but paired with this sound bar takes it to a whole new level. Just like being at the movies!

Got this for $150.00 open box @ BB. It was plug and play simple to set up with another brand tv. The sound improvement was great. Rear speakers not very strong, but still there and adding sound. Hence the 4 stars. For the price and improvement, this was a great purchase.

Pretty decent sound, certainly much better than the TV's speakers. Very easy to set up and it comes with many of the cables you might need. There is a speaker test option that is useful for seeing if your subwoofer and surround speakers are working. Be warned this sound bar does not support any of the new sound formats like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.

In general it was easy to set up the sound bar. The only problem I had wasn't actually the bar but my TV. Lots of cool features that just make it better.

I used a Surround system for 20 years but had to upgrade after purchasing a 4K TV. My wife was tired of the cables and complexity of using separate components( receiver and DVD player and 3 remotes). I reluctantly purchased the Vizio 5.1 36 inch sound bar after reading several reviews. I am pleasantly surprised. The sound is well-balanced with as much bass as most would need for movie viewing. The satellites provide a true surround experience. The remote stinks but the Vizio SmartCast app seems fine. Anyone looking to upgrade their TV sound should be happy with this reasonably priced sound bar.
