A upgrade from my Samsung sound bar that was kind of old... BUT... if you want to listen to music with heavy bass, these aren’t the speakers for you!!! I can hear a little static coming from the bar’s speakers (which probably means that it’s damaged) and the subwoofer speaker pops, which results me in having to turn my music down. Works well with movies and tv shows. Glad I got a extended warranty because the static on the sound bar is clear to the ear and it’s irritating!

Had to google to get everything working. Sometimes the Bass overpowers and you can't hear dialogue.

Posted .Hello JD99, your sound bar should stay on as long as there is an audio signal being sent to it. If the audio signal is stopped and ECO mode is turned on it will power off after a short time for power saving. You should also not need to complete a factory reset on the sound bar after using an app. We would love the opportunity to look into your setup and see how we can help. Optical sound and hdmi connection are out. While it worked though it sounded pretty good. I just purchased a Samsung sound bar to go with my Samsung TV. I’ll tinker with this one and see if I can get it to work and use it in another room if i get it to work.

I really like the set up, and the sound. It is perfect for the size of our living room and couch set up. I recommend this system if you have a town house style home, because the sound does not transfer far out of the living room area and neighbors cannot hear it.

I purchased this 5.1 sound bar on Nov 21st, and starting from Dec 5th its satellite speakers does not work properly. When I do a speaker test it provides sound like 'left rear' and 'right rear' but not from the TV or the Blu ray player.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. A few things about our 5.1 systems that may help you. In Surround Sound systems like this they use multiple speakers that simulate you being in the center of whatever you are watching. The rear left and rear right speakers provide ambient audio. If you are watching a movie with a woodland scene they would product the sound of a cricket or rustling leaves in the background that help create a more immersive experience. While this isn't idea for some programming or they may not produce audio we have inclluded a feature called "Surround", This can be enabled with the included remote and will always have the rear speakers produce audio.

This system is good for an apartment. I recommend getting a pair of stands for the rear speakers. Setting up is was difficult the expected. Look up an YouTube video. It’s better than the instructions that come in the box.

Make sure your router isn't directly between, or too close to the subwoofer and you'll be golden.
