It works sometimes but other times it turns off while you're using it.
I have it in a bedroom and I'm not a fan of the lights that stay on after you turned off your tv. They'll go away after 15 - 20 minutes but when you turn off your tv you want darkness so you can sleep. Enter the black electrical tape to cover it up :(

This is a great sound bar. Great price. A little hard to set up if you have satellite box but I figured it out. Sure and sound works great feels like you are in the movie.

This sound bar sounds great and replicates true surround feel with two satellite speakers.The satelite speakers get quite loud and really shine with 5.1 content. Love it.

Wireless connection to subwoofer and rear satellite speakers makes a significant difference.
Better sound than my $1,000.00 receiver and speaker set. Voaught another for family member and they have same enthusiasm for the product.
Rear speakers just bear any 2.1 system.

I bought this for my grandmother to replace her dying Panasonic home theater system. I own three Vizio TV's myself, and thought their sound bars might be just as great, especially based on all the positive reviews I saw here before buying it. Not the case at all.
The sound bar keeps shutting off randomly, whether there is an active audio source playing or not. We have disabled the Energy Star mode, we have updated to the latest firmware, we have changed the connection method from optical audio to HDMI - nothing has kept it from shutting off randomly. At least it supports HDMI-CEC, so it turns on and off automatically with the TV, but asking it to stay on and play audio seems to be beyond its capabilities.
We have also had trouble getting surround to work from sources that provide surround. For example, when we bring up Netflix on her smart TV, we can get 5.1 sound and hear audio from the rear speakers, but when attempting to play a movie from HBO on demand (or another source like football that is broadcast in surround) we only get audio from the sound bar itself.
Unfortunately these issues only became noticeable after the return period (Grandma lives 40 miles away so I haven't exactly been able to run out there and troubleshoot every time there is an issue), so we are stuck with it, and likely will be filing a warranty claim with Vizio. Waste of $250 if you ask me.

We love this. Very happy with this purchase. We love bass and this gives us great bass sound that we love. We live in an apartment and we had to turn the subwoofer down some because it was vibrating the floor. lol. When watching Movies is gives a great surround sound effect.

For the price point, this audio setup delivers what an even a good TV can't deliver. With a variety of inputs, the quality is good enough to cover your intermediate audio needs. I'd recommend this sound bar, especially when purchasing a TV that doesn't have the best built=in speakers.

This is awesome for a small surround sound, but with a lot of power and sound. I actually have speaker stands for the mini speakers and the soundbar. I use the stands when we use this surround sound on nice evenings with the projector for movies outside.

I’m on my THIRD unit. Even with eco power shut off and installed with the help of vizio over the phone, this unit keeps powering off by itself but will then turn back on when I hit the volume up button. It’s extremely annoying after paying a good amount of money for a “premium” product with Dolby atmos (which is incredible) that it doesnt work correctly.

This speaker does exactly what I want! It is way better then my TV speaker and does give me a nice full sound! Does make a difference with movies and sports, but some TV shows its just ehhh.... and that is not because of the speaker but the sound quality of the show. This is a GREAT buy!!!!

Enjoyed staying: location is great, not far from a subway station and only 15 minutes ride from all the sights. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for the hospitality.
