The biggest issue we have is that it switches back to the TV speakers on its own and for no reason. If there's static electricity near the wires (the chair i sit in gets it and it's about 18" from the wires) it will turn the system back to the TV speakers.

It has one fatal flaw (for me) — it broadcasts a WIFI network (for Chromecast setup), and that network cannot be disabled. So it ties up one of your local WIFI channels, bouncing your other devices onto a different WIFI channel. Why they didn't make this "feature" able to be disabled, I don't know.

One thing we wanted to let you know is that the WiFi network you see is only broadcast for the first 30 minutes of the unit being powered on and then will automatically turn off. This isn't a network that ties up any of your home network channels but is there so you can pair additional devices with the SmartCast Mobile application itself.

Of course, I need to find where the settings are so that it doesn't automatically go off by itself to sleep. Otherwise, very happy with the sound.

Also can just turn the volume up or down by using the TV remote.

It is the best sound bar I have ever owned. Worlds better than my Bose Solo 5.

For us being in a townhome this works good and doesnt create a lot of noise for our neighbors while delivering good sound. However, it has technical issues. It automatically shutsdown while connected to tv and something is playing. In the beginning it was fine but later on this thing happens a lot.
