Defective Unit - Vizio would not replace it

I noticed that I had to keep unplugging the sub. The sound was good, too good so I unplugged it and stored it for a while. Now with everyone staying at home, i connected the unit up and found out that it was in fact defective where the sub doesn't connect to the soundbar unless it is unplugged and re-plugged in to the wall. I understand the product is out of warranty but I also see that this is a known issue for this model. I would not buy this model again.

(I have a TCL Roku TV.) It works ok in stereo mode, but not in surround sound. Hopefully, a Roku fix will come to address this.
