Installed it in the main m.2 slot on an MSI x570 mobo with a built in heatsink and fan (combined with the chipset). Read and write speeds are as advertised. So far very satisfied, hopefully it doesn't die on me like the samsung did.

I bought a 4TB for my other computer and loved it, so when my son needed a new SSD i told him to get the WD brand. He bought this one and now his computer runs faster and smoother and he loves it. If your looking for a new SSD and highly recommend this one

I can definitely tell a difference in game load times. Glad I made the switch. *The M.2 is hidden under the Motherboard heatsink; BBY wants a photo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯*
