Sometimes there are issues accessing the drive remotely. When this happens, the product has to be reset in order for info retrieval to be possible. If no one is at home and you need access, you're outta luck!

I got this product as a backup drive and to free up some space on my computer. It has been great for backing up, but the firmware being up-to-date makes a difference. I was told by tech support to leave the auto updates off, but twice I had the drive tell me it needed to start a completely new backup. However, after updating the firmware it resolved the issue. Love having all my photos, videos, and other documents easily accessible from any computer or from my phone. I did add my old hard drive to backup the MyCloud as a precaution, and would recommend doing the same if you can, but have not had any issues so far.

Bought this to store all my pictures and movies and love the wireless feature and ease of setup.

I never got the drive installed. I assumed when told by the best buy associate and online research that the drive was wireless, it would work when attached to a wireless signal. What both failed to mention was that it had to be connected to the wireless router via an Ethernet cable. I don't fault the product. I fault the unnamed Best Buy associate and myself for being an incompetent and missing it, respectively.

This is what it says it is but not sure why its blocking internet access. Once installed on one laptop it started not letting me get to many websites. No support or instructions included to diagnose problems. Gonna need more than a few minutes to set up all pc's

Easy set up and operation. 4 iPhones and 2 laptops along with the desktop. Works very well.

The set up was touch and go at first, but once it was up and running, it worked greate.

I was hoping this would be as simple as using Dropbox to where I could literally drag and drop files onto the icon, but it seems to be not quite as simple. Otherwise seems like a good product.

Everything syncs well to the MyCloud and it is great to be able to access from anything.

Its pretty good for its price range, but on a network that is more then capable of handling 1080p 60fps game streaming, its really slow. After a few hours of loading all my blue ray movies to it, it get extremely high temperatures from it.
