Easy to set up and plenty of storge the Mobil app works just like it's supposed to.

After a couple of months of using the WD hard drive, I've been pretty impressed with how well the hard drive works on my home network. Getting it set up or modifying the configuration is a pain. When I try and add a share or new user from the configuration web page, I usually have to reboot to make the changes. I've also had to update the firmware a couple of times which is a time-consuming process. Overall, it is a fast network hard drive, so I do recommend it to others.

i chose a cloud vice wdtv since i can play files directly over enabled devices so my sony tv and ps3 can access the cloud and play movies, music, and photos easily. plus when im out and about i can access the cloud over data or wifi as long as its powered while im away. works great and keeps my phone clear of excess pics and vids. when i take a lot i upload on the go then remove from my phone.

The NAS is ideal for the beginner. Follow the instructions and within minutes you have terabytes of storage for use in your home network. My only gripe is that the speed of transfer is relatively slow. I have a gigabit network and copying a large file to the NAS is about half as fast as copying to another computer on the network. If you're patient, this product is totally worth getting.

Great price point but for a little more the convenience of a drop box service makes more sense to me.

Bought this because I almost lost all of my stuff. This is so easy to use. I love that it is wireless and you can just shoot stuff over to it. They also have an app that you are able to download to your phone and you can store things from there as well.

I love the fact that I can have access to all of my files without having to be at home and plugged into the external hard drive. All of my devices automatically backup to this device without any problem.

I wanted to free up space on my computer so that's why I bought this. It look a while to figure out how to save my iPhoto's and make sure I didn't delete them forever. I used time machine to back up my computer first as a precaution. That took about 12 hours. You have to open the files from the mycloud website and not open from the software.

This is great to keep a backup of all computer data and even iphones. I found it a little difficult to use but glad to have the security

I would of rated 4 or 5 stars if I could set it up with my smart phone like they said. But it didn't work that easy, I had to call tech support which wasn't bad but a pain because I work days and by the time I get home they are closed. So I recommend having a computer first to set it up with, then you might not need to call tech support.

This product what easy to use, set up, and install. I had it out of the box and backing up all my files in less than an hour. It's cool that you can access it from anywhere via the web. Down side is that it is expensive, so if you just want a drive to back things up you probably don't need this. I also thought it was lame that it can be used with a USB 3.0 but doesn't come with the cord.

I found that there is a lot of storage available with the cloud system and it was easy to set up. The apps were easy to access and made hooking up multiple devices a snap. There are two big drawbacks so far... it is slow in transferring data back to the computer and it is sometimes difficult to "link" with the lap top. It is hard to rate at this point because I don't know if I am the problem or it is at this point.

Does exactly what it's meant to do, but I wish the transfer speeds were a little faster. Up/Down speeds average around 50-80kbps

Very easy setup and even better than any of my other storage devices. Simple to send a link to individual files to friends or coworkers.

After taking a long time for the initial back-up, the machine seems to be working perfectly now and backing up my files regularly.

It's been up and running for just over a month now. Install was easy and took less than 10min. Backed up the PC and 3 phones with ease. Down load the app and you can view any saved file.

I would recommend it for anyone wanting to connect all computers and/or devices wirelessly for sharing purposes and for saving data.

WD Cloud HD was exatcly what I needed and was looking for. WD also has a great support department that was very helpful with questions I had about the product and in helping me set it up.

I purchased this as it was easy to back up my photos right after downloading them. It was very easy to set up, but after setting it up, it didn't reconnect automatically, and it took me awhile to figure out that you just have to open the windows command box "run" and type in the path and it would connect again. It now is connecting automatically.
