I wanted a storage device mainly for storing pictures from my iPad and this is a great solution. I also store frequently used documents, expense reports, time sheets, parts lists, etc. that I need for work. Now, instead of going upstairs, waiting for the iMac to power up, I can print the documents immediately using my iPad. It is a great convenience device.

I had lost all my files due to an broken hard drive and needed a back up solution that is easy and I don't have to manually back up my files daily. It was easy to install. I couldn't figure out how to access my files and make sure they are indeed on my cloud. I called the product hot line and they were very helpful, answered all my questions and walked me through the remote access.

Worked as expected. I can access to WD cloud from anywhere.

Was pretty easy to setup and start syncing. Recognizes my PC's and Macs on my home network. I use it for backups and storing my media. I can record EyeTv live TV directly to it and save space on my older Mac Mini.

For while that is what I need now. The setup is easy !

It's so amazing that you can access this hard drive anywhere in the world. Can share pictures with people anywhere I have an internet connection.

Great concept, but seems to have some bugs - a few times I have had to unplug it and re-plug it in as it disappears from the network. It seems to have stabilized recently.

I needed storage for photographs from my cameras to be accessed from several computers. This fit the bill. I can also access files from the internet as needed. Item was on sale. Customer service rep spent a lot of time with another customer before being able to get this for me but voluntarily gave me a further discount for my inconvenience.

Overall good back up - a little cumbersome too set up

I found the WD My Cloud front end to be a little clunky.

The My Cloud by Western Digital was easy to set up to the multiple devices on our home network. That included hard wired and wireless items.

Best recomendaction from a best buy employee! As a university professor I have all my files ready to share with my students from my office!

this is a great product. would buy another if i could.

I just bought MyCloud so I can not speak to the longevity of the device yet, but so far I love it. I love having the ability to back anything up from anywhere. and set up was incredibly simple. I had my family all up and running remotely, texting them the instructions!

Unit was easy to set up; I did have a few questions and technical support was easy to contact, a very short time on hold, and helpful!

i like the My Cloud. works good just a little slow.

Not plug and play; takes some getting use to. Solid

works as advertised, backed-up 2 complete computers and 2 cell phones. initial back-up is really slow but worth the week long wait!
