Make sure to download the software BEFORE you install to a PC. Read this tip and it saved a lot of time and problems. Worked very well, pleased with it. Was up and running on the first PC in about 20 minutes. Time varies greatly depending on your network speed from what I read.

Honestly, this is a great product but i rarely used it. i was still using my portable WD passport Ultra I purchased from Best Buy. So I returned it. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good product works perfect for my household. Downloaded the app for my iPhone and now backup my pictures saving me room on my device!

I wanted to get an Apple Time Machine, but did not want to pay $400+... I looked into this item online, read a couple reviews and promptly picked one up. Super easy to set up, have no problems and pretty quick write times over a good internet connection.

A little difficult to set up at first. Once it is set up, great for the entire family storage. Daughters in college and they can back up theirs from school.

Everything is good by far with this cloud external storage you'll love it. One advise is when you upload more than 100 pic at a time do it by computer.

Easy to use/setup and the app is great for my uses. But it slows down your home wifi. I have noticed a lot more buffering since my purchase

This thing saved me! I had to reset both my phone and laptop due to a hack, and it had already backed up all of my important files from both devices. I was able to restore everything. One thing that I wish it could do is plug to my laptop directly through USB (even USB-C!), and that it were a tad smaller, but that's a small issue. Haha. Overall, I think it's a great device, and the software to access it is pretty decent as well. There was some confusion with getting the right backup software but that was only a small issue.

This product does exactly what it says it does. It's easy to set up, very fast and best of all, quiet. I've never had a problem streaming movies off of it don't even know it's there, other than some other ones I've tried that are exceptionally loud.

It has been great done exactly what I needed I could transfer movies and music and files to it an I can access these things from my iPad laptop PC and my wife's tablet with out loading up my PC with all these files I can also add another hard drive to it for more storage

this hard drive is just as good as the previous western digital hard drive that I used for a storage of my life photos, videos, and music. every 5 years I get a new on to replace the current one. then the current one is my backup for the next five years. great drives.

I purchased this hoping to use it as an off-site server, but I went another direction. I do not know if this was capable of doing what I needed, but I ended up returning it and using dropbox.

I no longer have to worry about losing my photos! That was always important to me.

It's an okay product not something that I would truly recommend unless someone needs it at that moment. I found getting my files on to the my cloud a very disappointing experience. I would take hours for files to transfer and sometimes the transfers would just stop wasting my time because I would have to start all over again. If you are a Mac user I would just recommend the Apple Time Capsule setup was a breeze so was transferring my data.

Great so far, easy setup and working great. Had to transfer all my iTunes files as my last NAS had crashed.

This is perfect for home storage and to be able to access it remotely when away. Set up was quick and did not take a lot of time to learn how to use.

This worked well for my use, though it will occasionally have trouble loading media from the drive (meaning I have to download it to my laptop beforehand) but that's simple enough to fix.

User friendly, usb 3.0 is the best thing I just plug in my portable hdd and done!
