Love that I can backup all my photos to the cloud and be able access them all when away from home through my iPhone.

Downloaded My Cloud Software to my PC. Took it out of the box hooked it up to my Verizon Modem..connected my 2T WD Drive to the My Cloud. I now have access from anywhere to my movie collection or anything else I have added or linked to with the software. I can access from my Kindle or another PC. I gave my daughter access through the "share" in the software and she can access the movies or other files I have "chosen" to share with her on her devices remotely also. Works Great....by the way I am not a tech sound person...did make two calls to the WD help desk to assist me..they were great and followed up on both calls to ensure my issues were fixed.

Make sure you are hard wired in - do not do this wireless the first time if you have a ton of data! Once you start backup I could not figure out how to stop it and switch from wireless to wired backup. Took 5 days to back up 100gb of data. Once initial back up is done it seems to work good. Figuring out set up and what modules you need online not so easy to understand - terrible directions.

Took me awhile to get th remote viewing going but once that started working I enjoyed it. The storage is more than I need.

Easy External NAS hard drive to setup with network of PCs. Not quite as easy to setup HD on the cloud

Does what it say it does. Wish it would sync with my iPhone like it does Time machine but other than that it's awesome!!

One of the associates at the store helped me in choosing myCloud and overall I am mostly satisfied with the product. The service I find at best buy is always exceptional. However, after about a week of using this product it went offline. I filled out a troubleshooting contact form and got a response within a reasonable timeframe. The tech got my product up and running again in no time, but unfortunately it's a recurring issue and I have to reboot the system about once a week.

This product is great, a little confusing to use at first but once you read the instructions it's easy and safe. I use it for my all my devices and I can access it from anywhere. If you need more space this is the way to go.

This is an external iCloud to store your pics etc like the iCloud you get with your iPhone or iPad through Apple for a fee. Having your own gives you so much more control and less expensive than apple.

I was looking for a network drive and went with WD because of its reputation. I am not disappointed. It started up, was easy to connect to multiple operating systems and I am using it all the time now.

Set up the unit for storage in our school to store Records.

Product delivers as promised. For a fixed initial investment, you will have your personal cloud, and you will be always in control of your uploaded data. No more monthly fees and uncertainty about the end use/location or your data. Installation was not that easy and straightforward as the manual says, but technical support is available. I managed to get the cloud storage up and running after clearing out some initial issues with Ports and Ip's/. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Great product that works great over home network. Love it!

The WD My Cloud is a good device for external backup and allowing you access to your files or uploading data from remote locations. But, there are two things to be wary of: 1) Ensure whoever sets it up knows what they're doing. I recommend using a Geek Squad Agent. 2) It's critical you have this device attached to a surge protector. Why? It does take much to disable it's functionality and once that happens you'll lose everything.
