The cloud was easy to use and setup. We use it with multiple platforms (tablet, pc, iphone, laptop.) No problems with the online software setup.

Well, it does sorta. But I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it that way. It actually works very well to back up photos from my iPhone. But to back up my personal files, I had to figure out how to select certain files, and not back up the whole hard drive, which was the default.

Easy to use. Perfect storage options. The use of this storage from a remote location way a game changer for me. Great product

Satisfactory product. I don't like plugging in USB hard drive to my computer to do backup or to view documents/videos/pics. So I like this product for helping me go wireless. Cons: both the web interface and app can do much better. Needs better search option, tiles , item counts etc etc

This hard drive is great and allows usage just like the cloud. Fast and easy to setup.

Set this up to backup some hard drive data that gets updated remotely and also to use the cloud function to hold some photos from iphones. It does that a long time to initially do backups, but the update of changed files happens behind the scenes and not a problem. worth the money.

It's great for what I need it for, and I couldn't beat the price at the time. The only downside to it is....it's a bit slow to respond, but its much faster then the WD MyBook I picked up a few months prior. Overall....I'd recommend it.

I needed a new hard drive, as the one I had somehow failed. I checked other reviews and noticed that this hard drive was excellent. After purchasing and opening the box, I noticed that the instructions to set everything were a little less than forthcoming. I had to go online and look up more specific instructions and figure out how to do things. Once I got it set up however, it works great, always connects and easily saves files to the hard drive not necessarily in the same room. It's great.

I store all my music on this as I don't want to waste space on my laptop and Apple devices by downloading to them. You can play things with very minimal problems. The most difficult time I've had is trying to stream using my Apple TV.

I never trust any cloud. I think there are more people looking at your stuff. But with WD MyCloud is totally different. Every photo I take with my cellphone goes to my cloud, and if I need to have a photo in my cellphone or tablet I just put it in My Cloud and I can get it in my divices. It's the perfect and saver cloud you can have. Plus I can save everything I have, using it as a Hard drive.

Set up was very easy and working as advertised. Using for backup of several local network workstations.

Still learning how to create my own cloud that I can access from anywhere. It will be a great backup also.
