Love this thing, can save all my files and have it available when i need them.

Saving documents to my own personal cloud is fantastic. You can also add other storage devices via USB which is a plus.

I took nearly a week to get the backup to work. I could transfer files and folders but not an entire backup. For initial backup used a wired connection then setup incremental from there. Worked flawlessly across 5 devices since I took the time to read the setup guide

I have only been using the MyCloud external hard drive for a few weeks now, but so far so good. Set up was easy, basically plug and play. Moving files was easy. The main benefit to me is the ability to access my files remotely, and I have not yet had a chance to do that.

Works just as described! Easy setup! Installed on my macbook airs, 2 iPhones and mac mini. Would recommend!

Great device with minimal setup and applications work on all of my apple devices. Ipad, phone, and MacBook.

I use this for all my photo backups. It was easy to set up and then its easy to just upload pictures to it.

Multiple users have followed the same directions to setup, but some have had issues, don't know if it is a Windows 8.1 issue or not. I don't like that the administrator of the drive (me) has to use my credentials on each user's computer to install the software. I have an out of state client that I will have to give the admin password to install the software and get the access to the drive. Not a huge deal, I can give them a temp password and then change it, but it is very inconvenient. But overall, for the capabilities it has, it is worth the money. The user interface is easy, easy to add users and share files, permissions is easy as well.

difficult to set-up and never could set-up to do auto back-ups

I found the WD My Cloud to be very easy to install and setup, and it works great for access from my mobile devices.

Great back up hard drive. Lots of room to back up multiple laptops.

Bought this to back up multiple computers, tablets and phones. Easy setup & seems to be working well.

Got all me pictures and movies in it and can watch them in my ipads, iphones, and tv. The first time sync was slow but once the data was in it you can stream it without problems.

A great solution for backup files. A little hard to setup at first. After setup, easy to view files on any device.

Best thing we ever did to keep all the old pictures handy & alive & available whenever needed !

The only thing that could be add to this product is a usb data transmission option, the data transmission through the modem was slow and I was in need to save a lot of information. However now is working really good and I can save and access to my data from anywhere.

Excellent storage and allows the ability to retrieve information via the internet when away from home.

This Wd - My Cloud 2tb External Hard Drive is easy to use. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Very happy with device. Perfect to transfer music and be able to play on sonos aand Control4.

Downloads all my pics as soon as I take them. Liked it so much bought myself a second 3 tb unit
