Bought this for a friends office to keep his files backed up the web app sometimes crashes and wont let you in but other then that works great and comes with programs to set up back up dates and times to keep in case of computer crashes

If you are in the market for a cloud drive you can't go wrong with the mycloud from WD. I have streamed movies to my iPhone, as well as music. It works great with my apple products as well as my win 7 products.

This is the third one I have added to my network and I have to say that I could not be more pleased so far. The installation went fast and easy and they allow access to my music and movies from anywhere. Love the mobile app. I may add more to my network soon, so stay tuned for future reviews. GREAT SO FAR, I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This drive works very well and I haven't had any problems with the hardware. It isn't the easiest one I have used for the software though. A little complicated to upload files to it when you are on the same network with the drive.

im not a computer expert so for me this was totally new technology, after downloading the software i found myself not knowing what to do next or how to get my music onto this hard drive after an hour or so of watching youtube i finally figured it out

This drive does the trick for automated back-up, which is what I bought it for. The software could be friendlier to make the drive function more like an external hard drive. Searching for a file is clumsy. But for the price, I can live with this.

SmartWare, the name of the automatic backup piece cause lockup after boot. very annoying. luckily i backed up everything first, it does backup with a cable well, just the software is terrible

Price is high, ease of use is for the hipsters, performance is top notch, and instillation is confusing as heck and again recommended for hipsters. It uses up a large chunk of Wi-Fi when turned on. It is part of your network, so if you ever come across a virus or tojan or what ever there is, it can travel into your storage and destroy your files. I turn mine on, add my files, then turn it off to keep it safe like a external hard drive should do. I recommend an actual portable hard-drive where the only thing that can wreck it is a seven year old with a hammer.

Would recommend it highly for anyone who has run out of space on their cell phone or PCs.
