Easy to use but if you need to partition it better off going with 4 gb

Overall a good product. I was not so interested in the "cloud" function. I do not use this aspect of the drive. I was just interested in using it as a back-up drive and for this it works well. It could be more intuitive to set-up for two or more computers than it is. It takes some trial and error to set-up but not too bad. Once it was set-up, it works seamlessly in the background with no problems.

I recently hooked it up, was up and running in about 5 mins. Transfered a few pictures from my phone, seems to work flawlessly! You have to install the WD app on your phone for it to work, I've tried to access the pictures that I transferred at home and away from home, was able to access the drive with no problem.

This device was purchased with the features and security offering from this well known manufacturer, but I have found them difficult to set up and the main feature ( Cloud available ) completely aggravating. I am above average in computer knowledge and experience but must say this is difficult to set up and use . I will most likely return this item and try another "cloud capable" device.

Pretty neat device that allows my wife to pull pictures from anywhere. She does it seldomly, so need to pay monthly fees to dropbox/drive or some other cloud service. Just hope this stupid thing doesn't get hacked. I need a Cisco 5505

This is an amazing storage iCloud that you can look up your images from anywhere

This device has made my life so much easier. I am able to access all my docks from anywhere. The sharing capabilities allows me to share specific files with specific individual who I've registered on my iCloud account! I would recommend this prpduct to anyone looking for a safe and secure way to backup and access their data from anywhere in the world!

This personal cloud works well and is easy to install and setup.

Definitely use hard wire ethernet to transfer files. Large folders should be separated because "Windows" sometimes skips files after a period of time. I guess Microsoft is lazy.

Wasn't sure about how this would work on my mac but so far it's work flawlessly.

User friendly. Easy to install. Serves the whole house over cloud.

I use a tablet while travelling, so getting access to my big files are great.
