Easy to access easy to hook up easy to download the information onto all in all a very good product and I would suggest it to a friend

This was sold at a great price. Does what it is supposed to do. Easy to use setup and backs up all your files. Works great with apple products. Amazing.

This little drive was easy to set up. Didn't need anything huge for my photos and it worked great through the wireless router!

I use this NAS device for all my home storage needs. My 1TB computer HD isn't used much since we can share all our media files (photos, music, videos, movies, etc.) across the home network with ease. Easy to setup but definitely not portable!

I wasn’t really looking for a personal cloud storage. My external HD crashed and this was a good alternative.

I have iCloud (measly amount and expensive), Google Drive (6TB free), and OneDrive (unlimited included with 365 sub) so why did I need 2TB of my own personal cloud? Because I was backing up 15 years of my wife's pics and no way am I losing that. So they are now on her Mac, the WD Cloud device, and OneDrive. But only the WD is guaranteed in my possession, no fees, independent of internet access. It took about 5 minutes to hook to my network, install the software on my Macs and iPhones (the app is nifty!), and start backing up. It seems to move a little slow but I am using this for long term storage of important stuff and not day to day junk.

Perfect solution for someone who needs to access there info from many different places.

I was a little anxious about how complicated it would be to add a network drive, but this was so easy! I am using this primarily as a media server for music around the house, and it works great. Fast connection and really easy to use.

I use this as a way to store and share videos and photos. Installing on the network was easy, and it works as I need it to. My biggest peeve is that if you access it from an iOS device, you can only watch on the device. the app doesn't support airplay to an Apple TV.

Forget paying a monthly subscription and pay a one time price for your own cloud. Download from anywhere in the world from your laptop, smart phone or tablet. Keep out of reach of children and in a dry place. I learned the hard way.

Easy to set up but a little complicated to configure. It provides a cat 5 cable but I wish it came with a USB cable.

This was easy to set up and use. Enjoy the ability to upload and organize my photos and videos off my iPhone and iPad.

I had an old wd drive die on me and had to get a new one. Decided to go with this new one. Glad i did. Took it out of the box, plugged it in and was up and running in a matter of a few minutes. Couldn't have been easier.

I have no qualms about this drive, it is great. Reliable and fast, with all the functionality I was looking for. However, I have had a nightmarish time trying to register online accounts with the mobile apps and accessing the drive when not on the same network. The mobile apps need a major review and overhaul.

For those needing a simplified NAS this will definitely do the job. Easy installation and access from anywhere.

Excellent storage device. Has tons of space. Haven't had any issues with usage. Setup had a couple issues when downloading the update and initially going to the site. But once that was solved, it has been flawless.

When buying a new computer, I usually buy a new external storage unit. Getting one which creates my own personal cloud is definitely worth the extra $20 over the traditional external drive. Great price/great performance.

I will never run out of room. Bought this for my college daughter to put all her files on so she can take it to school or home and have all her files with her to do her homework for photography and keep all her photos on

It was easy to set up. It gives you extra storage and the capability to access stored items whenever you want.
