The My Cloud was easy to install. I would use their products again.

This is a nice little NAS. Set up was fairly quick and easy, and I was able to access it from most of my devices. The PS3 "saw" it but, wasn't able to display any media. I may not have configured it properly, but that was not the purpose for my purchase. Needed something for photo back-up and this does the job!

Why a MY Cloud. It is in my house, with my data, my backups, my info and not out in "the Cloud" for others to hack at. The 2T cloud holds a lot of info. I have 3 computers on my wired and 2 on wifi. I have not tried remote access (this will be important) I have just started "playing" with this and have not put it through any stress test. I did hook up my 1t WD Passport to it and it was seen by the system. I keep my movies on the passport.. I have a WD wifi streaming box on my TV. This gives me instant access to over 500 movies from the passport. DLNA works fine. My Rocu sees the device through it's DLNA but is unable to play a lots of the formats of the videos. I have access to all data from all computers. The big test will be remote access (besides teaching the wife how to get access) So far it seems like a nice product.

Did exactly what we needed. Allowed me and my wife to move pics, and anything else we needed to free up space on our mobile devises and can still get to it through the mycloud app! Would highly recommend!

I'm thrilled to have 2TB of personal cloud space. But, it was not sorted by firm build standards. The USB and the ethernet cord are way too near and Difficult to connect. The wireless function is not even available on my Model(Id have to shell out more money for that). The iPhone app is also having limited features and extension support is barely for a few.

This is great for having a personnel cloud use without having it loaded in some unknown location.

Great compact storage. You need a wifi in order to connect to this device. Use it on the go. Easily accessed from anywhere. Store pictures, movies, music, home videos. Upload them on your phone or stream them on your television. Watch or share them with your family and friends. Easy setup. Download software from the Internet. Once you download the software. A step by step installation will guide you through the process. Setup a password. Very simple easy to do. Highly recommended.

Purchased this for my wife. Was a bit hard to navigate in the beginning when trying to transfer from a hand held device but she managed to figure it out. It has been easy to use and she loves it.

The My Cloud is performing nicely. I have set up my videos and they are playing well. One thing is my Amazon Kindle Fire can not access the My Cloud, but that is an Amazon issue not a WD issue.

Very easy set-up on the network. Very much a plug and play option for a network hard drive.

I really do love this Hard drive as I go on deployments and I can access movies and pictures while overseas. The only problem I have with it is trying to link it to my smart TV. I got it working for a while but now my tv doesn't doesn't detect any media on the drive. I know it's not the tv because it links up with all my other devices and computers just fine. Other than that great for accessing your media when you're gone.

WD My Cloud is one of few computing devices that are easy to set up, especially considering this is a network storage device. It also performed very well. With its gigabit connection data write speed is very comparable to internal disks. It has been very stable for me. I never have situation that it would disappear from the network as some people reported. Sleep and wake functions also work well. It only takes a few seconds to wake up. Overall very satisfied.

This is what personal cloud computing should be.plug it in and within minutes, I have a cloud my iOS devices can reach from all over the world. No special Internet or configuration required.

I switched from using iCloud yo the my cloud and I absolutely love it! It does everything as advertise plus and easy setup. Still trying to figure out how to set passwords though for the public folder. Other than that I'm pleased. I even bought another as a Christmas gift.

Excellent capability for someone like me that doesn't use "the cloud." This device lets me access pictures stored at home from anywhere in the world. I can also upload my pics from my idevices from anywhere to this hard drive. That frees up space on my idevices so I can take more pics while still out-of-town

The size of memory is exactly what my wife and I were looking for to store our photos, and it's so easy to use. Great product!
