The TV had weird flashes on a corner of the screen or weird screen tears. These flashes and tears would repeat in intervals but it was completely random, sometimes once a second, sometimes once a minute. It drove me nuts looking for that flash or tear while watching a show. The second problem I had was that XBox one would say it is 4k capable. But, when I switched to 4k, there would be no image on the screen. So, I couldn't use 4k on HDMI. I got the Xiomi MiBox to do 4K but that device had frequency also listed with the resolution and it would work on some of the settings. I did enable HDMI 2.0 on the menu. On the other hand, I really liked the picture quality on the TV. Without fiddling too much, I got a great picture. The apps included are nice and work well. The TV is very light and very easy to move around. But, I returned it because of the first two problems. The replacement TV from Hisense had none of the problems. But, that TV is heavier and a good picture is harder to get right. But, the screen has no flashes and tearing and outputs 4K on XBox One. It would be a great TV if it didn't have those two annoying problems.

Purchased this TV based on reviews. Picture is be ry clear. Great sound. Also purchased a wi fi extender to utilize the wireless apps especially Pandora. Worth the price. Easy set up.

It's so clear and has pandora, vudu, netflix and even a baby app for those parents who need to keep their little ones occupied for a little bit. Great image too!

Most important, this is my 3rd 4K TV I have purchased in the past 9 months. Both other 4k's I own I spent $200 more and $900 more. This Westinghouse is the best TV I have ever had. It up-scales 1080p blurays to look 90% as good as a 4k disc. My 2 other 4k's don't do nearly as good. Everything picture wise is AMAZING. Cable TV, DVD's, Blu Rays and Streaming. Streamed a 1080p movie on it and I would have sworn it was a 4K disc. There are complaints on the sound and rightfully so. But I will now buy a nice quality soundbar and attach it and have the picture quality of a higher cost 4k TV. Honestly, this Westinghouse 4k has blown me away. I have spent 5 times more on a TV in the past that wasn't nearly as beautiful a picture. One of my neighbors with a more expensive 4K TV is buying one now that he saw mine. Get it...I promise you'll love it.

Originally purchased this TV to replace a 35 inch TV in kids toy room. Picked one up for $299 and it was defective took it to get exchanged. Once I had it set up I loved the great picture it was producing, so I changed it out with master bedroom 60 inch TV. Planning to change out a few other older LED TVs with this 4K TV. The price is great there are a few things I wish it had like but no big deal I'm very happy with the purchase.

Color is great, remote is easy to use,TV is lightweight, doesn't get hot like other brands, sound is great, and like that they have manual controls on the TV when many brands don't - for times remote may not work or gets damaged

I'm very happy with the excellent picture this TV has, and the options of the Smart TV. Mostly watching movies and listening to the music. The 4K Ultra HD is amazing ,compared to the 1080 that we have. The only thing that takes a little getting used to ,with the Westinghouse, is the delay on the remote when switching channels. Otherwise we love it.

It’s a good TV. With the Black Friday price it was well worth it. I wish you could download more apps to the tv though.

This TV is the perfect size for our space and the picture is so clear. The only problem which is not the fault of the TV is that Directv does not support this remote control so we have to use 2 remotes. A small price to pay for the inconvenience. We haven't tried everything that it can do yet but very happy with it so far.

Television was easy to setup. Using 2 HDMI ports. 1 for cable box and 1 for BluRay. Wireless WiFi was easy to connect and streaming is perfect so far. No Issues. For low wattage audio amps, the sound is very good, much better than I expected. I did go ahead and hooked up a Sound Bar with a Sub-woofer- As I wanted the richer sound that larger speakers provide. The screen seems a little more reflective than my other TV's, but it probably has better sharpness since it isn't diffused as much passing through the screen.

Great picture, love the wireless feature. Extremely easy setup and use. Bought this to replace an older Westinghouse that I had had for a while and had a damaged screen. Would recommend this TV to anyone, great price and excellent TV. Have had it now for over a month and don't know how I lived without it.

Picture was sharp, better than my old Samsung smart tv. My Samsung tv blew out from hurricane lightning surges and so I bought the Westinghouse to replace it, and I feel it is better than my old tv. It’s got the sharpest picture, plenty of apps, and the ability to download new apps and place whatever you want on it- also better connecting to WiFi than my old Samsung. No complaints about this tv at all I give it five stars.

We have had a 4K Samsung in the living room since they first came out. We ordered this Westinghouse on Black Friday 2016 for the bedroom and were pleasantly surprised. The picture is close to, if not just as good as, the Samsung in the living room. We were also just expecting it to be just a TV, but the Smart aspect of it works great. Have to have good wifi for it though, our mediocre wifi doesn't reach far enough so we have an Xbox One plugged into it. Overall, great product for a great price!

This is my second Westinghouse TV, and while they usually do not have all the razzle dazzle of higher end TV's, this is still a very good TV. This particular TV has a very clear and good quality picture. My wife was skeptical about 4K too, but she loves it now. Some additional pros include the smart tv functionality, wireless and wired network connections, and some actually half decent speakers. One con that I noticed is that the onscreen keyboard is clunky and for some reason does not have all the special characters. I had to create a new wireless password just to try it out. But in the long run it is better to just use my Xbox for Netflix. Overall thought, the TV looks great, sounds good, and cost virtually nothing next to other 4k tvs.

I bought this tv for my wife to go in our bed room. Let me be totally transparent. I bought this as a open box so it had no remote control or tv base so it had to be wall mounted. The list price for this tv is $450 I paid $267. Since I was going to mount it on the wall anyway that was no big problem to me. I was also able to find a original remote control for $30 online so technically I spent $300 on the tv. Although I added a sound bar the tv had decent sound from the stock speakers. It's a smart tv with about 5 built-in apps like Netflix, Pandora ,weather youtube ,vudu and toon a cartoon app. While technically this is not a HDR tv you do have the ability to change your HDMI port signal from 1.4 to 2.0 in settings. The picture quality won't be the best you have ever seen but it was still surprisingly good especially for a bedroom tv. Yes I would have paid full price for this tv and still wouldn't have been disappointed excellent value for the money.

Overall I'm satisfied with the TV. 250 bucks for a 50" smart TV! Can't get better than that. The 4 star is because the refresh rate is not the best, whenever you're watching a fast scene you will note a "shadow" is left as the objects move across the screen. But then again, is not a real issue for me but it is something to consider if you notice this kind of things.

This was the 1st 4K TV I have used. The price was right, so I gave it a try. I am happy with the picture, sound and quality of this produce. For a lower priced TV it is a good buy.
