One would think that a 55" tv for this price would be of subpar quality, however, the picture quality is fantastic. I'm not a gamer, or a person with an overly critical eye where special effects are concerned. I am greatly satisfied with my viewing experience with this tv.

It's great for the price. The picture is satisfactory. The 55" is great for our bedroom. I'd buy it again. I will see how long it lasts out here in the weather of Hawaii, where electronics rust and my Sony went out within 18 months.

We needed to purchase a replacement for a TV gifted to us by a friend, and we noticed this TV on sale. I checked other reviews, both here and on other sites, and this was a well-reviewed TV. It's well-earned - this TV is JUST a TV. No smart stuff built in (which will eventually, regardless of how often it's updated, be obsolete), no fancy bells or whistles. It does one thing and does it perfectly. We didn't need a smart TV - we've got an Xbox, Wii, and Roku all with access to various streaming services, and since there's three HDMI ports on the back, there's room for more in case I decide to replace any of them (say, with a Chromecast or an Amazon Fire, or a newer Roku).

I bought this TV for my elderly mother and she is very pleased with the sharp, detailed picture. While not the best picture that can be had, for the amazingly low price I paid at Best Buy I don't think I could have done better. Good TV at a bargain Price.

I bought this TV for my living room. It has a good picture, but as stated, it does have some pixelation during fast moving live action. I haven't noticed any pixelation while watching regular tv or movies.

This TV has great quality for the price and the only downside is that it has a weak tuner inside, so it won't pick up any channels from your cable and you need to get a cablebox in order to get it to work.

It's what would be considered a basic TV by today's standards. It's 1080p and the picture is clear. It's not a smart TV. It's not the latest and greatest, but if you're looking for a basic TV with a good picture it gets the job done.

As soon as I started looking,there was a pushy salesman. Then they sold me a TV that they knew was bad. After getting it home (1 hour away), I called to report the damage and they had me send pictures of lines in the screen. They give the email of an employee that hadn't worked there in months. I found that out when I drove another 1 hour back to return the TV. Then to top that off, since the one I bought the first visit was discontinued or so they said - it only cost $50 more, I guess I should have mentioned the 20 in gas, and 3 hours of my time driving there and back. I could not believe there was no attempt to make up for the inconvenience. It's hard to find honest fair people these days.

Saw this while browsing the store and had to look twice. I could not believe the picture for the price. NOT a smart TV but that's ok...just wanted a big, crisp picture for sports, gaming, etc. Decent sound too and easy to setup.

The tv shows clearly however we do have to by a surround sound system to enhance the sound. My prior tv had a built in surround sound system.

The picture is good however the sound quality is not best. I would give it a 4/10. I listen to music on tv all the time it's sounds a little "tinny". I don't notice it when I'm watching tv.

This is not a super monitor, however, for a large room that we spend time in, it's good. If you're looking for the latest and greatest, not your TV, but, if you're looking for a great picture and using it to watch TV,

Westinghouse delivers a great product for such a low price and especially gets better when you can get this through Best Buy for reliability and because they back up what they sell. Great TV and picture! Highly recommend!

In terms of price, size, and image quality you really get a great package. I guess you are not getting the top-notch image from high-end sets, but this is great for a family room or a second TV (not your main all star TV).

I purchased two of these on sale. Couldn't beat the price. These aren't top of the line obviously, but just fine for what we're using them for (monitors/videos), especially for the price.

I went in to purchase a smaller tv. Saw this one on sale, and figured I'd get this one instead, since it was a good price. So glad I did! Good picture! No issues at all. Great value for the money. It is in my bedroom

Great price for the size. No problems so far. Have been watching it for a couple months now. Just have to wait and see how many hours I can get out of it. Once again, great price.

If your looking for a tv that isn't expensive and provides a good enough quality then this is the tv. We are happy with it as a playroom tv and it's pretty good for video games

We wanted a regular tv and big for our living room. It was on sale and we love it! Fits great and has an awesome picture and sound! Plenty of plug ins and everything to hook up our dish and DVD player etc
