This purchase was done the end of January which means we have had the refrigerator about 1 month. We had the French 3 door style and wanted to try something different with a new 4 door one. We were looking for a month before buying as the old one had to be serviced. Refrigerators are low in stock due to COVID, and we had not seen this model but wanted American made - had NOT read any reviews. So far we are very pleased with the new configuration of drawers and especially like the 3 layer freezer at the botton as there is no digging deep to find anything. The ICE maker has preformed well and goes into the glass. It refills a bit louder than our old one but very managable. The delivery men wetre extremely nice and helpful. It arrived dented in the front, calls rwere made to replace it on back order. The person who did the replacement info was very helpful also. When the doors get replaced in April it is possible to be 5 STAR!

First off - IT IS BIG! This thing fully fills the space in our kitchen, but it looks great. Everything works perfectly. The coolest thing is all the various ways you can configure how you want to use the space. I didn't think the extra pull-out drawer/door was going to be needed, but we find it to be the most convenient feature overall. We also really like the ice maker size and ability to do so much on the door unit without opening the fridge. There are lots of neat features that make this more than just a refrigerator. It is definitely worth checking out.

We debated between this fridge and LG brand and went with this one for the fact that Whirlpool gets great reviews and there was a lot of comments about LG compressors that scared us off from buying an LG. We wanted something with a second drawer for the fridge part and it has been better than we thought it would be. You can put all of your items in both the drawer and top part and still have plenty of space and see everything you have without burying it behind something. The only negative that I have (others have commented on this) is the ice maker is a little loud and doesn't make a lot of ice, but so far we haven't run out. If we are going to have need for extra ice for a get together, then we will take the ice out and put it in a container and then let the ice maker make more ice. My wife and I are both extremely glad we bought this and would highly recommend this. It was more than we originally wanted to spend (around $3000.00 with additional 3 year Best Buy warranty), but it is well worth it. The delivery was only two days after we bought the fridge and the delivery and set-up was great!!

The layout of really good. It’s nice and bright inside. The extra drawer for the refrigerator section is wonderful. I love being able to open just that and get my most commonly used things. Freezer has plenty of space. The only thing about it that I would do differently is have a second ice maker for the freezer. Our old LG had this and was very handy but LG is crap and can’t keep compressors working longer than a couple of years.

The refrigerator is a good size for our family of 5. We like that you can see everything when you open the doors. Not too much gets “buried” like in our old side by side. The extra middle drawer we use for healthy snacks and the small slide compartment inside is good to have for block cheeses and things of that nature. The measured water dispenser is terrific and we use it more than we thought we would. One of the complaints we read was regarding the amount of ice it makes. So far we’re okay on that end. We even had a dinner party of 12. Now for the cons: the freezer compartment isn’t as big as We were hoping. Although the 3rd pull out drawer is helpful it makes the other 2 drawers not as deep, so we can’t freeze as much as we wanted to. The ice cube/water dispenser is on the noisy side as it shift between functions. Overall, we’re glad we purchased this this refrigerator. Definitely a great upgrade.

I just scheduled the second repair visit on this refrigerator in 4 months. We have only had it since May 2019 and have already had more trouble with it than any other major appliance we have ever owned. The first problem, shortly after getting it is that the drawer front to the top freezer drawer (inside the freezer) kept falling off. I finally took a close look and noticed that some plastic tabs had broken off. According to the tech, these are not covered under warranty, so now we have doorless drawer with stuff sliding out all the time. Those should be covered and designed better. Then last August the ice maker slowed way down and we noticed the top food portion and the middle drawer was not cooling. It was getting down to 50. I noticed massive ice buildup behind the middle drawer. I ran most of the front panel diagnostics and found no problems. Unplugged the fridge, melted the ice, etc. Still no go. Tech came out and said its common for these to freeze up and take out a part. Part was ordered, but it took over two weeks for it to come in and be repaired. Now, 4 months later, the same thing has happened. We noticed because ice was built up so much behind the middle drawer that it wasn't closing right. So another tech person is coming monday. Search the web and you will find the freezing issues are common to this and many other models. Older refrigerators used to last me 15 years with no trouble, but quality is clearly down. It is shameful on the part of these companies to put out such shoddy products. They really should replace all of these with units that work.

Oh, my gosh, I thought one could only fall in love with people until we purchased this. We had three fridges we were looking at and though this one was more expensive than the others we are so glad we purchased this one. This is what we love about this fridge: The control panel you can check the temp, lock out the water for small children, choose half moon ice (love that), ice chips or water, plus you can choose the amount of water with the push of a button (you want just 8 oz set it and let it do its thing) the led lights inside are wonderful, the ice holder is in the door so you have more room in the fridge. The organization inside the fridge is to die for. Drawers, adjustable shelves and even a shelf that move back to allow for taller items. We thought the door with the ice would be heavy but it is not. There is a middle drawer between the fridge doors and the freezer. 3 separate areas and great for putting items you use regularly so you don't have to open the whole fridge. Think fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese, butter, cream cheese and yogurt for quick grab and go items. The freezer, has two drawers, they are slim but we liked that so things aren't toppling behind the drawers. There is even a pizza slot in the front but we use it for ice packs. This fridge is quiet which is a bonus. I can't say enough great things from the time we purchased this, the delivery and set up, it was all so streamlined. Granted we have only had this for a few weeks but so far we are extremely happy and so glad we have this in our home.

Purchased this unit as part of a major remodel, along with a Whirlpool dishwasher and cooktop. This unit has great storage and for the most part, I love it. However, I have great concern of a couple things--primary concern is the occasional really loud noise that sounds very much like a bad compressor. It doesn't happen everyday, but when it does, it has my attention. Another concern--items in the front (pizza storage) of the freezer door do not seem to freeze as much as it should be; freezing is not uniform in this drawer. I lowered the freezer temp to -3F. Last concern/comment is about the water/ice lever: a tremendous amount of pressure must be used here to dispense water/ice. This unit was installed a little less than 4 months ago, and am now wondering if I made a poor choice. I have always been a fan of Whirlpool products, but $3K+ warrants a better product.

The freezer design has much more space in it than you think it does. The sliding tray system helps keep frozen foods from getting lost. The refrigerator drawer works great for snacks and grab and go items for kids (like juice boxes and cheese sticks). Only con is the ice and water dispenser is rather noisy and the tough screen requires real pressure to trigger it.

This fridge has great storage space and lots of flexibility in configuring the shelves. We have a very tight space and this fridge was one of the only large capacity refrigerators that would fit. The zero clearance hinges on the doors means they can clear a very tight space when opening. The separate pantry door works great for meat and cheese and keeps them fresher longer. You can also adjust the temperature settings to accommodate almost any item you wish to store. Freezer organization is easy with the slide out shelves and in door storage. The ice maker puts out plenty of ice and we have had no issues. Overall this is a great fridge!

This fridge has it all! I love the double trays in the freezer to store stuff, this way stuff is not stacked on top of each other especially when looking for something you don't have to empty half the freezer to find it. I also love the pull out drawer in the middle, we put drinks there and cold cuts, makes it easy to get. Only think I am not a fan of is the clear bin in the top part as you can maybe only put butter or small items there but that is so small in the vast plus items I love about it. I have had it for about a year now with no problems.

the functionality and set up is an improvement over my old fridge. I especially love the second pull out drawer for fruits/produce as my husband uses a lot of bulky fruit for his lunches and it used to take up both large drawers in the fridge. tis model has 2 smaller drawers and a bonus third skinny drawer that fits his yogurt perfectly. additional small touches like a shallow.narrow bin along the edge for cheeses and other small items and easily adjustable shelves are just icing. the two shallow drawers in the freezer compartment are a lifesaver.. one fits all those pesky ice packs and frozen juice cans perfectly, and the upright slot for frozen pizza boxes is one of those things you never knew you needed. the water and ice dispenser has some neat but quirky features such as hands free dispensing a pre determined amount of water. the crush feature actually crushes ice quickly and without sounding like an 80 year old man trying to stand up from his chair.

We previously had a side by side refrigerator, and we did not like the layout at all. After much research, we decided on this one. Wow, are we glad we did! The refrigerator space is so much bigger and easier to access everything. The middle drawer is super convenient and makes accessing things so much easier. The freezer is also so much easier to access food, and the three shelves are the way to go. The noise is normal and not something we notice. The water dispenser is awesome! We love the automated water filling capability and use this every day. It can accommodate large water bottles too. We could not be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended!

I am 100% in love with my new fridge! It is ridiculously spacious, and I can say that now with confidence. I just cooked a huge Thanksgiving meal yesterday and had no trouble fitting all the leftovers in last night. The 3 drawers in the freezer plus the extra slot for frozen pizzas are perfect for keeping me organized, and I love the extra fridge drawer. I keep all my selter cans and bottled drinks in there at the moment, which is working great. The water dispenser and ice maker work great, and I love the extra perk o being able to measure out water - I've been using it for recipes and also to fill up my water bottle.

Bought this fridge when we moved and we are really enjoying it. Definitely recommend buying. It’s spacious and the ice machine is great. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it takes a little effort to push the the water/ice dispenser. My last one I could leave the cup under it and it would stay flowing. This one requires you to push the cup against the lever with a little more force.

This is BY FAR my favorite appliance I’ve ever owned!! It is beautiful and very functional! I love the ice/water dispenser being in the door. It allows for so much more space on the inside of the fridge. The drawers in the refrigerator slide so nicely. The refrigerated drawer (My favorite feature) is awesome for snacks and drinks! The three drawer freezer makes it easy to stay organized and the pizza slot in it is my husband’s favorite feature!! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product and highly recommend it!

Just have for less than a week. First impressions. It works. Based on some reviews, that is a miracle. Like decision of 4th drawer. Previous fridge required opening both doors to get to cheese drawer wasting all kinds of energy. Water dispensor has shelf but no drain Bad idea

We have had this fridge for just a few weeks now, but we have not had any problems and are overall satisfied with our purchase. We did extensive research prior to buying and felt this size, make, and model was the best option out there for the price. There were other reviews that mentioned issues with the lighting inside the fridge and/or the water leaking. We have not experienced any of those issues. Our only qualm has been adjusting to the drawers/spaces in this new fridge and struggling to figure out where to place all of our containers. I feel that would be the case with any fridge, though. Also, we did purchase the 3yr extended warranty, so that has given us piece of mind as well. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

After our Samsung Side by Side Compressor went out in less than two years, we decided to stay away from Samsung and LG on our replacement. Have had the new fridge for about a month. Fridge space is very good. The fruit & vegetable bins are smaller than my previous one but still adequate for the two of us. Love the drawer for meats and cheeses. The freezer drawer is large on the bottom and I like the slot for the frozen pizza boxes. I'm considering removing the top tray in the freezer so the other one can be used for larger items. Ice cubes are small and melt quickly, but still adequate. The refrigerator is very quiet except when the ice maker is filling and the ice cube is cycling. Absolutely no fingerprints on the door, love this! I would purchase it again.

Have been happy with my purchase of this fridge. Lots of storage space in upper compartment. Like the separate pullout drawer for meats and cheese storage. Wish the freezer was a bit bigger and without the slide out drawers. I think it is the same with most bottom freezers. Fridge does lose some cooling quickly when doors open. Wish it had a visible current temp in the fridge unit.
