[This review is NOT because of my receiving a "promotion" offer.] Just came back here to say that I purchased this item in 2018. It is now 2024 and I am forced to purchase yet another washing machine because this "Assembled in USA" appliance is dead. 100% DEAD. Control board fried itself under LESS THAN NORMAL USE. Time to bite the bullet and purchase a Speed Queen. No need for a BOT reply either. Those pathetic BOT REPLIES NEVER ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING and are an INSULT to "consumers". Hey Whirlpool, want to make it right? Send an APOLOGY for wasting my time and my MONEY and just replace this SIX YEAR OLD lightly used machine. PERIOD. This thing is JUNK.

This washer holds huge loads! It works great if you are doing a small or large load. All the clothes come out really clean. I love how easy it is to use!

When I worked for Best Buy back in the day, I used my employee discount to purchase the largest capacity, heaviest duty Whirlpool Washer & Drier set available. They lasted me 25 years. They both still run, but the washer increasingly needs repair and I just got fed up researching videos on YouTube and fixing it. There was a decent discount, so I went with the cheapest Whirlpool of a similar capacity. I was very pleasantly surprised at the unexpected features and the great job it does washing. I doubt it will last as long as my first one, but thus far I have been very, very impressed with it. Highly recommended.

our old top loader finally died after 10+ years. we picked this model because it was a good price, in stock, and got decent reviews. We've had it almost 3 months and have been very pleased. it's very quiet compared to our old (belt driven) one, and we can wash much larger loads now, meaning additional energy savings from fewer loads overall. We were a little concerned when we first got it about the seeming flimsiness of the pull-out drawer for detergent but so far it's been ok. the ability to rinse stains internally pre-wash is pretty neat.

I love my new washer I love the color and the quietness during the cycles. really big on the inside. can rinse with little faucet if have deep stain. love it.

Originally we had a front loading Samsung, which we liked ok, but the mildew smell from the front loader being unable to dry out like a top loader made our clothes smell, really bad. So we opted for a top loader. After an exhausting day of review reading and eyeballing, we settled on this washer( I actually settled on another Samsung top loader but the wife won out). I must say that our clothes smell incredibly fresh and clean. You have to watch the water levels, as some settings aren't quite deep enough for certain loads. This washer is huge inside but you don't want to fill it up unless you plan on filling it with water too ( there is a "hidden" button that allows you to add water at your leisure, as much as you want). My only complaint is that this machine is LOUD, a lot louder than our Samsung, and takes an hour to wash most loads. Sadly, this is the norm for most modern washers. I did buy the 150 dollar extended warranty, cuz one trip from a service tech on these newer machines and you could triple that. It's only been a few months, so we will see how it goes. I'm going to have to install a sliding door to our laundry room just to kill some of the sound this sucker makes. Makes all kinds of noise. This is the only suck part, so if you're laundry room is isolated from the rest of the house, you're good to go. Ours is right off the kitchen, but even in our bedroom on the other side of the house (our house is small though) you can hear it. It makes a lot of clicking and knocking, like non "normal" washing machine sounds.So there you have it.

Very easy to use! After you put in the clothes and the liquid detergent, you can just press on a couple of touches like: (1). Turn it on (2). Select "Color" (3). Select "Normal Wash" (4). Press the Start button by holding you finger on it for 3 seconds! Weeks after weeks whenever you turn it on the selection stayed the same. You can also wash those big items easily, so my parents they love it!

We replaced a Samsung front load that was 8 years old. This washer has huge capacity, cleans great and is easy to use.

The washer was initially very loud, but it turned out that it was due to the drain pan it was in. Read a review mentioning that and tried it before attempting to return. Once that was removed, it was no longer loud. Pretty quiet actually. The only issue we have found was that the spin cycle is so fast that some clothes come out wrinkled. Reducing spin speed on those articles seems to help. However, that is great for towels and such.

Nice larger capacity, quite operation, functions are abundant, very intuitive and easy to use.

This washer has a lot of space! Not too noisy and very easy friendly to use

Pros- top loader, cleans clothes well, multiple settings, very user friendly, good color option to match already purchased dryer Cons- slightly louder, no agitator should in center makes me little skeptical. Overall very nice washer compare to Samsung front loader washer which I had issues with day one.

Very easy to operate and I love all the features! I like the faucet feature and the smart sensor to determine the amount of water needed for the wash load. I purchased the dryer first and was looking forward to having the matching washer. Great capacity and ability to wash larger or small loads including a full size comforter.

I really like my washing machine and got it for a really good price. It does make some noises. It makes so weird noises when washing but other than that its perfect. It is a very good large machine so you can wash a xxl load of clothes. I like the fact that it has the low water but you can push deep water for soiled clothes. I also like the quick wash feature. Overall im happy with my product.

Really disappointed with this washer. Firstly, let me just state that it’s a beautiful washer and the controls etc are nicely laid out. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do the one thing it’s designed to do, get clothes clean. A couple of things of note: - It barely puts enough water in to cover the clothes (even with a medium load) - It seems to twist clothes into such a knot during the agitation process that the amount of washing across a given garment can vary massively. - The draining process appears to be absolutely awful, I’ve had several washes now where clothes have come out with dirty residue all over them. All clothes were basically clean when they went in (see image) - The tray into which you put the detergent is a shaky peice of plastic that feels really cheap compared to rest of machine. We’re going to persevere with this thing for a couple more washes but it will most likely be returned. Oh how we miss out Maytag front loader.

Had a great delivery team come and deliver this product. THe geek squad was very nice and friendly. They installed the washer within a few minutes and hauled away the old one. Would recommend them so much that we are going to be using them for our next purchase of the same washer. The washer is so quiet and very roomy. Can't wait to get it again in our new house soon!

Even though the installer forgot to turn on cold water and the instant stream wouldn’t work and his explanation was wrong cuz once we turned on cold water it worked. This machine is huge and made for short people as I can reach all the way down in drum. Can even do king size comforter comfortably.

Quite, enough capacity, easy set, good performance

I previously had a top load washer and was very disappointed in it. This one is superior. It has a bigger capacity, settings for every kind of load and it really gets my clothes cleaner. I’m using the same laundry detergent and same temperature but can easily see the difference!!!

I love how well it cleans. I can put an entire hamper full of clothes in this washer! It is a great time saver. The color is fantastic too. Only complaint is that with heavy loads it can get off balance and stop. It may take several tries to get the balance/laundry correct to finish the cycle.
