If you haven't purchased a washer in some time, do not believe the reviews that say this unit is quiet. It is not and you will be convinced the noise you hear indicates your unit is defective as the drive mechanism for this washer is quite different from prior models. I had the Geek Squad come out to confirm that I had no issues and was told that many of the manufacturers are using plastic and metal components in the direct drive gear systems and that the combination produces more noise. My sense is that the unit will not last as long as prior models, but we'll see. In addition, if your water pipes are prone to banging, you will need Hammer Dampening valves from Lowes or Home Depot ($10/per) as the water valve in the unit opens/closes so quickly, it causes a lot of banging on my pipes. It is a nice design and has good features, but I am frankly disappointed with the noise, particularly after reading other reviews to the contrary. Beware.

I had to buy and find a new washing machine due to the fact that my old one broke down. I walked into Best Buy to just check out what they had and get an idea of how much a new one would be. I ended up picking this one. It works wonderfully! It has so much more room compared to my older machine. It looks awesome too. I recommend this machine to anyone who needs to wash lots of clothes at a time.

The washer is quiet, and can accommodate large loads, including bedding.

I purchased both the washer and dryer set. I rated the dryer for te washer. They both are quiet, does large loads, and does a complete and wonderful job. So glad I decided to get rid of the front loader set I had (that I just wanted an upgrade, I had for 10 yrs with no issues) an wanted to try these. Man I was excited and still am months later. The best decision made!

Nice looking machine. Cannot seem to get the legs to stay put so that machine does not wabble around. In addition, do not under any circumstances, MOVE THE MACHINE. The legs will begin to wobble as the laundry spins out. Very annoying! Once you read the manual a few times, you will be able to use. Best Buy does not hook up the hoses,etc., due to liability. I wish they had told me that in advance. My husband is ill and had a little trouble putting it together. The Geek Guy were very apologetic.
