Great dryer does what youd want your dryer to do dry your clothing fully. Had a old whirlpool that lasted 19 years this is slighty better in terms of having temp selection and sensor dry which is great its not to much features thatl break but the ones you really want all on ANALOG dials not digital wear out in 5 year dials. Extra large capacity you can dry anything you want no issues the sensor dry works great at cutting off the heat to not over dry and shrink my clothing large opening to catch my falling socks. overall i look forward to at least 15 years with this classic dryer from whirlpool. Drys faster than our old one which is nice aswell so far no complaints in 3 months or so of ownership she dries well clothing comes out nice feeling not crunchy or over dried and hot wrinkleshied is great for when i fall asleep with a dry cycle on overnight.

Get the right power cable, simple connection watching the steps on YouTube, easy to lift(pretty light) and installed where the old one was, plugged it in, set it to our usual timed cycle, the buzzer was a reasonable sound we could hear across two room length and was surprised that it dried perfectly on one cycle and my wife loved how all the clothes came out wrinkle free and super dry. We’re happy and hope it last as long as our previous fancy GE. Buy Whirlpool!

WED4950HW Whirlpool dryer is affordable, simple to use, & well designed. This model actually dries my heaviest loads like jeans thoroughly the first time. The wrinkle prevent is a nice feature, but I would like to have the option of switching it on or off. This unit is relatively quiet compared to dryers I have owned. Best buy had to order it, & it took less than three weeks to arrive post pandemic, not bad considering world events. It had some damage on the right side, but it still works great, & the damage is concealed.

I purchased this dryer as attached to the washer I previously purchased. The dryer gets nice and hot, has a spacious barrel, so plenty of room for large loads, and an optional buzzer ro let you know when your cycle has completed. While low tech compared to other dryers, it gets the job done with minimal fuss and basic settings, which is preferable for me, ease of use for children.

My old dryer tried to burn my place down overheating. I had to get a new dryer and I shopped around and around and found this one. It has everything I need, I love it. I love the door that opens down that way if you drop a sock or piece of laundry as you load or unload it , it doesn't end up on the floor. It makes folding sheets a breeze, because as you fold the sheet the door is a nice place for the length to set as you fold. The controls are simple and easy to use and are very straightforward. The end of cycle alarm button has scared me to death a couple of times as it is easily turned on when you go to push the knob to start the dryer without you even being aware it shifted to "on" till is scares you lol. Over all excellent dryer!!

This Whirlpool dryer gets the job done, but it’s nothing to rave about. The AutoDry feature is convenient and helps prevent over-drying, but I’ve noticed it sometimes leaves heavier items slightly damp. Capacity is solid for a standard household, and it runs fairly quietly. Build quality feels average—definitely not flimsy, but not premium either.

This dryer is good quality and easy to use. We wanted a simple dryer no digital read out just knobs. We purchased the matching washer for the same thing ease of use. The dryer is big and can hold a lot of clothes.

This dryer has very good capacity, runs efficiently and performs very well. It has sufficient features to do what's needed. the pull down door in front makes it easy to go from the dryer into the laundry basket.

Had this dryer for about a month now. It has been a wonderful upgrade to our dryer we owned for 10+ years. It is quiet, and does a great job drying and not leaving wrinkles. Best Buy also did a great job making the online purchase and delivery setup easy to do online

My wife is very happy with the new drier. It is easy to use and is not noisy. The drier can handle large loads and dries them quickly. We like the fact that it uses "past technology" controls rather than the newer electronic ones that fail too often.

This is an excellent basic electric dryer. It works well, has a large capacity, and easy to use. It was also available at a reasonable price. I am a happy customer.
