i did quite a bit of research before i got this one, i had an earlier model of this for years until the fat measurement part stopped working.. then i bought another brand off of amazon and didnt really like it.. this one is really nice.. i like it a lot

Great scale to keep track of your body and heart heslth

This is one of those devices I didn’t think I would need. My current scale only measures weight and I body fat percentage. This innovative device has revolutionized the way I monitor my health and has become an essential companion on my wellness journey. With its ability to measure body fat percentage, body mass, bone mass, heart rate, and even metabolic age, this smart scale offers a comprehensive overview of my overall health status. The app was easy to setup, I simply followed the steps to connect to the scale, enter my height and weight, allow it to access my iPhone health data and the app was setup. One of the standout features of the Withings smart scale is its accuracy. I compared the heartrate from the scale to my apple watch and it was the same. I have found the measurements to be consistent, providing reliable data that helps me track my progress and set realistic goals. The scale seamlessly syncs with the Withings Health Mate app, which displays my results in an intuitive and easy-to-understand format. The app also allows me to set personal targets, monitor trends, view historical data, compare my fitness level to others so I know where I stand. The inclusion of body fat percentage and bone mass measurements has been particularly valuable to me. These metrics provide a more holistic understanding of my body composition, going beyond weight alone. I’ve been trying to exercise more, mostly cardio type workouts, and eating less bad carbs. By tracking changes in body fat percentage, I can assess the effectiveness of my fitness routine and adjust my nutrition accordingly. Having the body fat percentage can be encouraging as well, provided it decreases. Lastly, I appreciate the sleek and modern design of the Withings smart scale. Its slim profile and minimalist aesthetic make it a seamless addition to my bathroom décor. The scale itself feels sturdy and well-built, instilling confidence in its durability and long-term reliability. They also include rubber feet for carpeting, which I don’t need, but can appreciate. In conclusion, the Withings smart scale is a game-changer for anyone looking to take control of their health and well-being. Its accurate measurements, comprehensive health tracking capabilities, and seamless integration with the Health Mate app make it an invaluable tool. I highly recommend this smart scale to anyone committed to living a healthier lifestyle and monitoring their progress along the way. At the end of the day, it’s a tool. Like any other thing else, if you are not committed to your health, to changing exercise and eating habits, the smartest scale can only do so much.

Scale is adequate and works properly but did not track all the health measurements that I would like so I exchanged it for the upgraded version

I loved the Body Fit and had it for about 4 years and it was time to replace --- The upgraded screen is a plus although I do prefer recharging via USB vs batteries.

I've had Withings scales for years. I upgraded as my old one was no longer charging. Happy with this new model and glad it runs on the batteries now too. I like all the features, easy to read.

I have the Withings Body Comp and worked fine for a few months. The product stopped working and was not giving me data including heart rate and body compostion measurements. It's the reason I bought it in the first place. I have been stuck communicating with customer service via email and chat as they don't have phone support. It's been 2 weeks now without much of a response. The chat AI says my case is under review with "senior support". That's been the case for a while now. I don't anticipate being able to use the device anymore.

Absolute awesome. I had some trouble with connecting to app but other than that it’s been great.

This scale is great. The app works perfectly. They do try to upsale a subscription but works just fine wothout it.

I regret upgrading to this scale from an older Withings model. The extra features aren't very useful, and just make it slower to use this scale. - Weight: Accurate and fast measurement, but this is the same as simpler models. - Body Fat %: Not accurate. It's over 70% off from a Dexa scan result. The scale also often fails to measure body fat %. - Visceral Fat: Not accurate. It shows "Normal", for someone that is obese. - Heart Rate: Not accurate. It shows 110bps when a sports band shows 65bps. - Vascular Age: Who knows if this is accurate given the heart rate inaccuracy? - Electrodermal Activity Score: Who knows what this means?

I love being able to sync my weight-loss journey across a variety of apps without having to manually enter my weight each day. A time saver indeed.

Excellent and comprehensive device with a lot of data captured for monitoring health trends, especially if shared with a physician.

Great help in maintaining health and achieving goals.

Good scale I like the body fat and other features that it comes with

I have used a Withings scale of some form for over 10 years. I have become used to the finicky app and convinced myself to pay the premium prices they ask because I was already in the "ecosystem". (The first one broke after about 7 years, which is acceptable.) Accuracy has meaningfully deteriorated after 8 months of very infrequent use. It will give 5 lb different weights from one minute to the next. Support is a nightmare. They are very slow to respond and have thus far refused to offer any kind of service (still in process, but it shouldn't take a week and multiple chats). In my most recent chat they asked me for a picture of my feet standing on a scale to "prove" that it is inaccurate. What does that prove? I step on it, it gives one weight. I step on it again, it gives another weight. Dealing with support is a nightmare. They are rude and unhelpful.

We’ve been eyeing the smart scales for years and never actually acquired one “don’t need a smart scale to tell me I’m fat 😊. But after seeing all the things this new Withings Body Comp scale has to offer, I wanted to give it a try. Unboxing and Setting Up: The scale came in a nicely logoed box and inside there’s the scale, 4 feet for carpeted floors and instructions. Batteries were already installed “Duracell too” and just had to pull a plastic tab on the back to turn it on. I had already downloaded the Withings App on our Samsung phones, set up new accounts and linked the scale to each account. I do like that it can separate users and you will only see your data and vice versa. You can also set it up so everyone can see/share each other’s data. The scale can also be connected to Bluetooth or WiFi and once it was connected to our wireless network it immediately downloaded a firmware update. The scale itself is very robust with the top being pretty thick glass, the underside is plastic and looks to be pretty thick. The scale weighs quite a bit more than our other simple digital scale and is also larger, almost 13” square. The 2.8” display is very easy to read at standing height and shows you all the data as it acquires it. Use: According to the information the scale can track 8 users, which is plenty for us “only 2” but that’s great for a larger family too. After setting up everything I stepped on the scale and it immediately recognized me, “I’m guessing by the starting weight I input during account setup”, the same was for my wife, as soon as she stepped on it recognized her. Now you can’t just step on/off quickly like other scales you have to stand and wait for it to take all the readings and at the end it shows the current weather and air quality “nice”. We’ve only been using for a few days now and it hasn’t completed a couple of the tests as it takes 5 weighing for them to be calculated but it does record everything else. I do like that it checked vascular age and Electrodermal Activity as I have some neuropathy issues caused by an old viral infection that caused some nerve damage, and this should help keep an eye on that. It also has body composition, heart rate, and temperature measurements which is going to help keep track of our health goals. Conclusion: If you are looking for a very advanced weight scale that has more sensors in it than any other scale I’ve seen and want to track your health very closely this new Withings Body Comp scale is well worth looking into. Their app does offer a subscription to add more health goal and coaching features, at $99 a year that’s not too bad for everything it does, not sure it’s necessary but if you are wanting even more I’d probably add the subscription. Plus the app will sync with Samsung Health so all the data is shared there too. Overall this is a great piece of health management equipment and well worth the price.

The tracking works well and all of the extra data is nice to have as well.
