I have used a Withings scale of some form for over 10 years. I have become used to the finicky app and convinced myself to pay the premium prices they ask because I was already in the "ecosystem". (The first one broke after about 7 years, which is acceptable.) Accuracy has meaningfully deteriorated after 8 months of very infrequent use. It will give 5 lb different weights from one minute to the next. Support is a nightmare. They are very slow to respond and have thus far refused to offer any kind of service (still in process, but it shouldn't take a week and multiple chats). In my most recent chat they asked me for a picture of my feet standing on a scale to "prove" that it is inaccurate. What does that prove? I step on it, it gives one weight. I step on it again, it gives another weight. Dealing with support is a nightmare. They are rude and unhelpful.

This is a great scale packed with many features and capabilities. It does a great job at handling the most basic functionalities you expect from any scale, but also goes above and beyond in adding several additional measurements and functionalities. I really like that this scale can handle multiple people using it, so the results from others using the scale do not impact my measurement history. Setting up this scale was very easy. The app guided me through the setup process and also updated the scale during that process to ensure that it was running the best software available. The scale has a sleek design and a color screen that provides a lot of information when taking measurements. The Withings app is great as it allows you to see your measurement history, trends, and also integrates with other health platforms (Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, etc). It is very easy for me to go and see my history with all of the different things that this scale measures. The additional user functionality with this scale allows you to keep measurements from different users separate. You can set up the additional users within your own Withings account, or, they can create their own Withings account for tracking their data separate from yours. I really like the flexibility that the Withings app offers on this. This scale can measure weight, BMI, body fat percentage, muscle percentage, visceral fat, heart rate, vascular age, and electrodermal activity score. If you are looking for a scale that offers many measurements and insights, this scale offers a lot! I am still learning what some of these measurements mean but am intrigued by all that this scale is able to measure. I was a bit confused with the vascular age reading as the scale itself showed a different result than was showing up in my app. The scale says my vascular age is good, but the app is saying it is too high and is giving a different number. That may just be a glitch that will be fixed in the future and other than that, I did not experience other issues with measurements from the scale. Overall, this is a great scale with a lot of measurements and features. It looks great, supports multiple users, and has a well-designed app. I do think this scale is a little expensive, and while I think the added measurements are great to have, I am not sure it is worth the additional cost to get those. If some of the additional measurements that this scale offers are of particular interest to you, then I think this is a great option to go with. Or, if you just want to have lots of measurements and insights into your health, this is a great device to go with. It does all of the standard measurements really well and adds many additional ones on top of that.

Coming from a Garmin scale, this was less intuitive and slower to perform. Most days I have to step on the scale multiple times for it to read my weight and not get the error signal. I also question the accuracy. I can step on the scale multiple times in a row and get different weights each time varying by around a pound.
