Picked this up for my 8 year old because she loves Mario. It’s not too hard for her and it’s a very cute game! I love the super cute “crafted” look of the game, too. It’s even a blast when we play together. Would definitely recommend for a younger gamer!

My daughter lovesssss this game. I thought it would be a bit too hard for her at the beginning given the fact that she is only 3. Fortunately, we discovered that it contains an easier mode for her. The 2 player mode made it even more enjoyable.

Mix one beutiful art style, a tight control scheme, and a satisfying loop of platforming and collecting. What comes out of that bubbling cauldron is Yoshi's Crafted World which builds on the strengths of Good Feel's previous titles, and sets a new standard for the studio.

Great game for a younger person. Very cute the way the game is made to look like it’s all cardboard. Love how the same level has two ways to play depending what side of the screen you are on. Puzzles are pretty tame & don’t require a college degree to solve. Fun game for the family. Not too much violence other than eating the bad guys & spitting them out as bullets. But pretty tame for children.

Great game for any Yoshi / Nintendo fan. The art style and game design is great and fun to explore. The gameplay is fun and enjoyable.

I can’t get over how much I recommend Crafted World. Not only is this one of the most beautiful Switch titles, this is going to provide countless hours of fun. Granted, the first half of the game is hardly difficult, it really ramps up in the end for a pleasing challenge!

When I played the demo, I was on the fence about getting it. When it went on sale, i decided why not. After playing through the first few levels, I just couldn’t put the game down. The art style is very cute and the game has many throw backs to the other yoshi games.

Looove the game! I got it cause it reminded me of the Yoshi game on Nintendo 64 playin at my cousin's house !

Beautiful game, as other reviewers have said, but definitely more on the kid side. It's very cutesy. I had hoped to play collaboratively with my husband but it wasn't his cup of tea. I'm happy to keep playing on my own.

I'm an adult playing this game. I play just one player and at times it is frustrating. But what game isn't? It has its ups and downs but overall the game is very fun. I especially love the way they created the levels, the developers are truly creative in what they did with the game. With all the side "requests" and other small to-do's expect many hours out of this game. I've already had about 15 hours so far and that's casual playing.

My son got a Switch for his 7th birthday and this was his #1 pick. It's a very fun yet simple platformer that can be played one or two players, forward and backward (when you play, you'll see what I mean). The level design is very good, the color scheme feels bright and eating your co-op friend is fun...for the first few times :-) We are working our way through the levels trying to unlock every costume and having a blast together.

Great game for young and older kids! My son likes to replay levels to earn more rewards. Teaches kids that more effort is rewarding.

Bought this to play with my 7 year old. He loves Yoshi. This game has been great so far. It's similar in style to Little Big Planet. The levels are colorful and playful in design. The game supports 2 players locally. If you play with a younger child, there are ways to help them through the more challenging parts of the levels which is really nice. For instance, you can ride on the other player's back or be safely tucked away in the other player's mouth. Sounds funny, but comes in really handy when playing with my 5 year old.

Yoshi's Crafted World is one of the most charming and densely-packed 2D platformers of the modern era. It combines the classic Yoshi gameplay with an arts and crafts aesthetic which makes it as lovable as Wooly World but far more flexible. Where there was once 6 world, there are now nearly triple that, each wildly different from the last. In addition, each level allows you to interact with and move between the foreground and background, similar to Bug! Lastly, can play the courses in reverse for hide-and-seek speedruns. There's such smart and varied level design on display and it's so densely packed with new ideas and things to do. The only criticisms I have are the music (which is.. fine) and the egg aiming (which isn't super intuitive and takes some getting used to, but isn't a huge issue). Overall, I love this game. It's such a nice world to visit and I can't recommend it highly enough.

There have been a lot of mixed reviews regarding Yoshi's Crafted World, but if you are a fan of the Yoshi series it is definitely worth playing. A lot of creative ideas are used in the levels and boss fights in regards to the crafting theme, though none of the ideas are used so extensively that you get tired of them. The controls are tight, but aiming has changed from previous games due to being able to aim and hit things in the foreground and background, and it takes some getting used to. The "flipside" levels are neat, but the idea is a little underdeveloped. The scavenger hunts in each level were fun too, but a more streamlined way that allowed you to find multiple items at the same time in a level would have been nice. Still, aiming for 100% completion will keep you busy for a while. The visuals are a big draw for this game and they are beautiful. I can't praise the music however, which is probably the worst aspect of the game since there is only one primary tune that is remixed for each level and it gets old fast and is disappointing. Overall a good game and a good addition to the Yoshi series, but a step down from Yoshi's Woolly World on the Wii U, which was better.

Adorable art style. Obviously not super challenging for kids, but can get tricky if you go for all the collectibles. Just cute and fun. And very creative environments and enemies.

LOVE this game. I loved the demo, I love the full game. It's Yoshi and he's doin' fun stuff. hah Honestly, there's not too much I can say as I haven't beaten it yet, but the time I have spent with it, I love.

Yoshi proved to be as fun as any other Mario game. The challenging levels, the beautiful art and the lovable characters were everything.

Love this game Yoshi’s Crafted world brings a whole new twist on the franchise while taking me back to some nostalgic scenes reminiscent of the Yoshi Story I played as a kid. I get to experience the franchise with my son and wife! It’s great.
