A: according to cnet, yes.- A: If you buy an unlock phone you can change carriers with that phone. Not sure which box to check I went into Best Buy purchased mine and I was already a verizion customer. Verizon was going to charge me $40 for the new phone. I called and complained because I have been a long time customer and they removed the $40 fee. Just and FYI.
