Synopsis

Season 3 begins with the Unit disbanded and its members wanted by the U.S. for war crimes. Jonas (Dennis Haysbert) is in Panama, where he is hunted by an assassin, while Hector (Demore Barnes) and Mack (Max Martini) are captured and put in prison. Only Bob (Scott Foley), who is working in Mexico for the CIA, is safe. Tiffy (Abby Brammell) visits Mack in jail in hopes of saving their crumbling marriage, but he wants nothing to do with her. In Washington, D.C., Col. Ryan (Robert Patrick) attempts to discover who is behind the dismantling of the Unit and learns the answer is closer to home than he suspected. Once the company is reformed, Ryan orders Mack to move out of the base house, following a violent confrontation with Tiffy. And things get worse for her. Tiffy must take a job as a waitress after being fired from her teaching position because of a DUI conviction stemming from her taking responsibility for Charlotte Ryan's driving incident. Jonas' daughter Betsy (Angel Wainwright) enlists in the Army, which causes Molly (Regina Taylor) a great deal of concern. While on a mission in Lebanon, the Unit members become pinned down by snipers and two members are seriously wounded, which changes the makeup of the group forever. Back at the base, Tiffy and Kim (Audrey Marie Anderson) unwittingly uncover some surprising information about Molly's past that could adversely affect her future. In London, Jonas' past complicates a mission when he teams with an MI5 agent to track a Russian scientist. Jonas believes the British spy may be in collusion with the target, but detecting the agent's loyalty is made more difficult by the fact that Jonas was once engaged to the man's wife. Other Unit missions include taking down a plane armed with deadly nerve gas, rescuing American Embassy personnel in the Ivory Coast and recovering a microchip planted inside a man's chest that contains the identities of terrorists. ~ Tim Holland
