- A: AnswerDrill a small hole. Insert ridged wire, like from a wire hanger to check depth. Then bend the wire to half the size of the speaker, reinsert into the wall and rotate the wire to check that it doesn't hit any obstructions. This method should help ensure you install it between two studs. You must have about an inch of drywall all round the opening to affix to.

Q: QuestionCan these be ceiling mounted ?(5 answers)
A: AnswerYes, I did - pretty easy and secure. I built boxes around mine in the attic for (slightly) better sound and to keep the insulation away from them.Answered by Expert007
Q: QuestionCan I use this speaker for center channel? Yamaha Natural sound NS-IW470WH(3 answers)
A: AnswerYes it would be an awesome center channel for its frequency response. Problem is they come as a pair so you would have an extra one.Answered by arinbur89
Q: QuestionDoes the speaker cover attach by magnet?(1 answer)
A: AnswerNo, it is friction. Basically it squeezes in. To remove the grille, a small prying utensil can be used to gently separate the grille from the face of the unit.Answered by Arin
Q: Questionimpedancedescription says 8 ohms, then it says 6 ohms, which is it?(2 answers)
A: AnswerThey register as 6 oHms. I think with the crossovers the oHms drop. Depending on your amplifying source, they should do well on 8 or 4 oHms. If your source is restricted to 4, your volume level will lower than expected. If your source is 8, the volume will be higher than expected, and will generate more heat. You should be fine. Hope this helps.Answered by arinbur89
Q: Questionhow can I order just thr grillshw can I order just the grills(1 answer)
A: AnswerHere is a link to get you to where you want to go, as far as ordering parts, such as the grills. You do have to sign in and that is as far as I went. Hope this helps! https://www.yamaha24x7.com/#/Answered by arinbur89

Amazing sound at an amazing price
I scooped these up in store for $150 for the pair. These Yamaha's are the left front, right front, surround right, and surround left in my 5.1.4 setup. I was looking at pricier sonance's, but ultimately went with these as the reviews on best buy were exemplary. And holy heck do these sound spectacular! The sound they put out at their price is very surprising. I painted them almost the same brown as my wall and they look wonderful. I highly recommend these if you want great sound at a great price.

Amazing product
I ended up buying a second pair because the 1st pair was so good. I connected of these ceiling speakers to a ceiling mounted projector and two mini orb audio amps. Everything is hidden in the ceiling with volume controls on the wall. I also have a wireless mic hooked up. This is for a conference room. These speakers are great for the money. I wouldn't buy more expensive ones unless you are setting up a high end movie room.

Great Sound and Easy to Install
These speakers sounds and look great! Very easy to install with the included template. And I color matched them to my painted wall and was delighted they included a mask to protect the speaker while painting the grills and speaker surround/bracket.
