    Practical and compact

Summary: A very practical outlet that looks nice on the wall, fits any type of adaptor, provides surge protection and has USB-C. I like it due to the compact form and practicality of the device. When setting up the device, you do not need to remove the wall place, just unscrew the screw of the wall plate and screw in the new plug. It will not likely go flush with the wall if you remote the outlet and you do not want any gaps for electrical items. Verify both lights are on when installed, the blue one shows it is protected and the green one shows it is grounded. After installation, the plug works very well with small and large adaptors alike. As pictured in the review, I can plug all slots with larger adaptors and simply need to rotate the plug as needed to ensure a good fit. The instructions show that the top dent of the unit can be used as a shelf for your phone to charge on top of. The USB-C outlets put a max output of 60 watts via PD and uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) which keeps heat levels low. As a result, if your phone supports higher levels, it should charge quickly so long as it supports the Power Delivery standard. As an example, my S23 Ultra seemed to charge at full speed (45W) based on the time estimated to charge but my OnePlus 11 did not as their 80W charging does not go over PD. The 60W is via an individual plug and it will split to 30W each if you are using both at the same time per the user guide. Most laptops support PD so unless you have a high-powered gaming laptop, your Ultrabook or MacBook should charge at decent speeds. As most of these devices tend to do, they provide good surge protection up to 1080 joules and includes a large $100,000 warranted for any damaged equipment from a surge.

This is How All Power Outlets Should Be Designed

I’ve had a couple power strips made by 360 Electrical over the years and have found them to be well made and unique in design and functionality. The Revolve60 follows in their footsteps with slick features and a first for me of having surge protection built into the unit. The Revolve60 is designed to fit over the wall plate of a standard, dual-outlet receptacle, but it will not attach properly to a receptacle that is a GFCI unit (the kind with “Test” and “Reset” buttons). You remove the single, center screw of the standard wall plate, leave the wall plate in position, insert the Revolve60 into the 3-hole grounded outlets and secure it into position using the screw that is held captive to the unit. You will need a flat blade screwdriver to remove your existing wall plate screw and a Philips or flat blade screwdriver to tighten this unit into place. Once you insert the Revolve60 into the receptacles, the two front-mounted lights will illuminate indicating there is a ground circuit present (green light) and that the surge protection circuitry is functioning (blue light). If the green light does not illuminate, the device should not be used on that household circuit. The Revolve60 features four 3-hole, grounded AC power outlets, each of which rotate through click stops a full 360 degrees to allow for maximum flexibility in the positioning of cords that have large power-supply bricks built into the male AC plug. This feature allows for utilization of all of the AC outlets that might otherwise be blocked by the large “wall warts” on the device cords. I attached four of the largest devices I could find in the house, and they all fit (see review photo). These four AC outlets are protected from power surges and spikes by built in circuitry that provides 1080 joules of protection and the manufacturer offers a warranty protecting up to $100,000 of connected equipment from damage. Note that if the blue light on the front is not illuminated, the Revolve60 is no longer providing power surge protection and this defines the end of the product’s life and it should be replaced as it has provided the intended service of protecting your equipment (this is not a defect and the device is not warranted for this situation). Also built into the model 3E0773 unit are two USB Type-C charging ports that have a total power output of 60 watts regardless of which port is used. If BOTH ports are being used, the maximum output is 30 watts to each port. This is sufficient to charge two modern smart phones at once, or a large tablet or laptop. You can attach two devices that can draw a total of more than 60 watts, but the devices will simply charge slower than they are capable of. The devices connected to these ports to charge will regulate how much current they will accept, so there is no concern that you are using too powerful of a charger. The top edge of the Revolve60 is designed so that you can rest a smart phone on top of it while it is charging. The device is also designed to make it usable either in an AC receptacle down by floor level, or one at counter height such as in a kitchen. It should be kept away from water, so bathroom use is probably not the best idea. In the enclosed instruction leaflet, the manufacturer states that the Revolve60 should NOT be used with extension cords, power strips, multi-outlet adapters, heaters, sump pumps, life support devices, water-related devices, vehicle battery chargers, or conventional, convection, or microwave ovens. If you need a simple power strip to connect multiple devices that have “wall warts”, 360 Electrical makes products that have the revolving outlet functionality without the USB charger built in. But if you are in need of that feature AND also need high-wattage, fast-charging ability for your devices along with surge protection for expensive electronic equipment, the Revolve60 meets those needs in a stylish and convenient package. If I had three thumbs, all of them would be pointing up.

    Nifty and useful gadget

_____ *Pros: -Converts my 2-outlet to a 4-outlet + 2 USB-C system. -The rotating outlet design is brilliant and convenient. -Having two 30W USB-C outputs is useful for phones and tablets. _____ *Cons: -None I got the 4-outlet Revolve60 for one of my living room outlets, and it’s so convenient! Instead of having just two AC outlets, I now have four, and the two 30W USB-C outlets are powerful enough to charge any of my smartphones or tablets. If you want the full advertised 60W of USB-C power to charge a laptop, then only one USB-C outlet can be active/in-use at once. If both USB-C outlets are being used, then the power will get split into two 30W segments. I knew about that before placing my order so it wasn’t a rude surprise. The four 360-degree rotating outlets are very convenient as I do have some devices with large chargers and they can co-exist without blocking each other. The 1080 joules of protection is decent. I wouldn’t trust this device to protect my gaming PC but it’s good enough for smart hubs, routers, and security camera base stations. Overall, I’m quite satisfied and happy with this product. It gets 5 Stars from me. 👍

    Adaptability

The Revolve60 is great for any home. Ether it to be installed on an outet that is heavily used or to have it in a location where you need to have outlets that rotate to accommodate charging bricks or awkward plugs. What I like the most is that the usb c chargers are capable of charging up to 60 watts. This allows me to charge my MacBook Pro through the built in port without my Mac charging brick. I would Iike to note though my MacBooks charging brick is 96 watts so using the revolve while space saving is not time saving. Also, you can only use one usb c port at a time to achieve 60 watts. Having two devices plugged in is usb c will split the wattage to 30 watts per usb c port. This is unfortunate as I often charge multiple devices at the same time (MacBook Pro and iPhone pro) so charging will take longer. 30 watts is enough to charge a MacBook air but I wouldn’t want to charge my pro that low or nothing will ever happen. As long as you only use usb c at a time then you will achieve 60 watts. The highest wattage to charge an iphone is typically only 30 watts (even for the pro). So you can charge two cell phones at the same time via usb c and face no trade offs compared to a typical charger. The 4 swivel ports/outlets are great. At first I thought it’s really no big deal because all four outlets are on top of each other; however, I was wrong. Having the capability to rotate each outlet allows you to fit in anything you may like. The outlet looks and feels modern, the top part of the the outlet holds your phone against the wall by an angle but you wouldn’t know it when a phone is not on it. This outlet is smart by equally distributing power through its ports, provides power protection to your devices with 1080 joules of surge protection, and lifetime limited warranty of $100,000 for your devices if something were ever to happen while being connect to the revolve60. Install was like any other with 1 outlet plug to 4 with securing to a wall outlet using a center screw. Essentially you just install this on any home outlet. It will utilize either the top or bottom plug (depending how your outlets were installed) of an outlet while covering the 2nd outlet without use.
