Allison Adams Tucker - Wanderlust - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

This is a compilation of famous piano pieces by Scarlatti, Mozart, Brahms & Chopin. Wendy Waterman is a re-discovered 76 year old pianist, living in Switzerland. She made her UK debut as a 10 years old girl with Bach's concerto in D minor, conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. The pianist chose some of her favorite pieces for her current recording. The result, however, is not accidental InchI now see so much piano music that I have known and loved all my life in a new way Mozart through his operas, where the recitative requires a different approach than the aria, and where one learns how singers phrase his inimitable melodies, Brahms and Schubert through their rich, wonderful songs, Chopin through the eyes of Italian Belcanto, and finally Scarlatti, based on my studies of countless baroque opera scores that made me revisit his delightful miniatures and to decorate them freely, inspired by Italian lightness and joie de vivre.Inch

Interview was the eighth studio album of Gentle Giant and was released April 23rd, 1976. Stylistically it continued in the vein of their preceding album, InchFree HandInch released the year before. InchInterviewInch further displayed the eclectic and versatile nature of the band, from reggae influenced grooves to ethereal a cappella vocal passages and furiously complex rockers. Award winning producer and musician Steven Wilson has remixed InchInterviewInch in Dolby Atmos and 5. 1 surround sound. Wilsons attention to detail and deep respect for the source material makes the album sound as fresh today as it did on first . In addition, the original flat mix, original 1976 quad mix and an instrumental mix will all be included on a CD/Blu-ray. Album Tracks 1. Interview 2. Give It Back 3. Design 4. Another Show 5. Availible for the first time on Yellow color vinyl. Los Angeles punk quartet The Paranoyds channel revelry and revulsion into their debut album Carnage Bargain - a raucous blend of garage rock grit, new wave swagger, horror film soundtrack campiness, and a myriad of other influences. The Paranoyds' beginnings can be traced back to a friendship forged between Staz Lindes and Laila Hashemi in their teens. With the additions of Lexi Funston and David Ruiz, the band found the personnel for their sonic balance of jubilant energy and foreboding undercurrents. Carnage Bargain captures this chemistry through guitar-and-keyboard, genre-mashing weirdness on InchLaundry,Inch the fever-dream kitsch of B-52s on InchRatboy,Inch krautrock's motorik groove on InchHungry SamInch, and Blondie on the sweet-and-salty highlight InchCourtney.Inch Title track InchCarnage BargainInch is a perfect example of the band delivering scathing lyrical observations under the guise of a quirky pop hook. The notion of rejecting the status quo and creating your own destiny is evident on the lead single InchGirlfriend Degree,Inch which the band calls an ode to Inchbeing a badass woman who's taking time to make sure she's doing things for herself.Inch The band may be paranoid, but they offer a solution to our modern ills through the act of being an inspiring, independent, and unflappable force.
