I would love for Alpaka to launch a same design a pocket for laptops, Super happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I think this is an excellent sling, based on MY needs. I needed a pack for travel, with a water bottle holder among other things like a hidden security pocket. This bag checks a lot of boxes, but isn't perfect. The materials and build quality are outstanding. This bag will last a long time. All zippers are seam sealed, not YKK, but they look and feel sturdy. The pockets seem spacious, but do compete with each other for space. The bag could use some organization, the main compartment would do well with a pen slot, or two. The water bottle holder is large, but it does encroach on the main compartment slightly. In my mind, I thought this not being ambidextrous was a bigger issue than it actually was, it really is very comfortable and sturdy and an ambidextrous strap would have been a hindrance to that. I don't use the secondary support strap, but I see the need for bicyclists and scooter riders. This bag does a lot of things, some things really well, just could use a thoughtful update for main pocket organization and water bottle pocket. 4 stars!

I used the bag as a daypack while travelling in Asia for 2 months and I really like a lot of the features of the bag like the hidden pocket for holding a passport, the strap pocket for anything you might need at hand. The biggest issue I had was just the size. I do see now it's claimed size is 7.5L vs the 10L it was listed at when I bought it a year ago. I carried a Hydro Flask 32oz lightweight bottle because my Nalgene 32oz wouldn't really fit in the water bottle pocket but either 1L bottle reduced the bags volume even more. The pockets and internal organization on this sling are great. with 5 pockets for different things there is a home for everything and the strap is comfortable if the bag isn't overloaded. Overall I'm quite happy with the bag because it has so many features that I found so useful while travelling but I would like to see a version that is a bit bigger so i could carry a sweater.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I have had the Patagonia bag for a few years and was looking for something new. This bag is nice with several helpful features. It is slightly larger and heavier than the Patagonia but the addition of the water bottle holder is nice. Just wish it was stretchy not zippered expansion. I also like the second strap. It keeps the bag stable, no more swinging.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] The Alpaka Metro Crossbody is my go-to bag for heading to appointments, commuting around my city, and roaming about on a weekend. It's padded strap is very comfortable and it fits my 28oz water bottle easily without interfering with space in the main compartment. It is great when I need my essentials and few extras like my e-reader, headphones, a book, and or journals. It also has a great inside zip pocket for my small beauty needs lip gloss, sanitizer, perfume roller etc. The absolute best part of this sling though is the front sleeve phone holder. This allows quick-access to your smartphone and I have yet to see this feature on any comparable sling. The material is solid and has done a good job keeping my belongings dry on rainy days. The capacity is great and overall this sling was exactly what I needed. My only wish is that I had bought it in blue instead of Black, but otherwise I am thrilled and as a bit of bag enthusiast very happy with most of my purchases from Alpaka.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] By far, this bag meets a lot of needs - water bottle holder, adjustable straps, comfortable back padding, belt to secure the bag when you are biking, etc. The one downside is that it does not fit well on a female or a petite female body. Compared to other bags of a similar size (e.g., Patagonia 8L), this bag is a bit heavier and feels a little bulky, especially when full, which starts hurting my shoulder. Nonetheless, I will keep this bag, as it meets most of my needs.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] This sling bag is a quality construction with attention to details for form, material and texture. It works. Its my first sling bag but not first Alapaka. Getting used to the singular shoulder wear does take time to get used to. However it swings from resting on your back to the accessible position in front easily and swiftly. The capacity seems to hold my EDC carryies well enough, that includes a few 1/2 letter sized books, 11" tablet with typecover, 500 ml waterbottle, pocket knife/multitool, glasses cleaner, etc well enough. The bag is fabulous. I'm only still getting adjusted to wearing it and having it on me.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] Almost perfect. Just needs a bit more room - my 27oz(?) Kleen Kanteen falls out if my 11" iPad is inside. I'm still trying to get used to put on / take off, but once on and adjusted to my body, it fits, wears very well & comfortable. Purchased for a trip to a big city to keep items close to my body, and also for its size, going into museums where a backpack would not be welcome. J.
