This is my first time purchasing an Echo Alexa and I can honestly say I’m impressed. Not only do I love the Twilight Blue, I love how loud the speaker is and how clear Alexa sound. I texted out Alexa before at my job (2nd gen) and it’s not as loud as the 3rd gen. I’m still learning more stuff about Alexa but to me, it was well money spend.

I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the great clarity and bass this smart speaker has . I was thinking amazon wouldn't put much great tech inside of a smart speaker that was 60$ But when i would listen to my classic rock , and hip-hop . I honestly thought i had a little Bose speaker . Compared to my first gen Alexa , this blows it outta the park with the way you can listen to music on here . I look forward to buying allot more Alexas in my future due to this one preforming so well .

This Amazon Echo third generation is a good product with good sound. I like the most because it can be paired with my Amazon Echo Plus and play Stereo Sounds

I purchased my first Alexa Echo 1st Gen two years ago and I fell in love right away! It was bittersweet for me to replace it with the newer 3rd Gen but they had an amazing trade-in offer so I had to take advantage of it. First thing to note this Echo is much shorter than Gen 1 but a little wider which I prefer because it looks and fits better on my kitchen island. The new blue color is amazing if you’re considering getting it! Setting up the new Echo was the easiest most seamless process! I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in and in under a minute it set itself up and was ready to use! I didn’t have to do anything, it was already programmed with my smart lights and my WiFi, couldn’t ask for an easier setup. I love my Echo and use it every day and if you’re considering getting one, I say go for it! If I had to critique or complain about anything the only thing I could say is the wall adapter is really large since it’s still a square block like Gen 1. This is more of a personal opinion but Gen 1 had a rotating top to turn the volume up and down (which I loved) where as Gen 3 has volume up and down buttons. Functionally they both work I just though the rotating volume top was more fun and unique, but I’ll live on just fine with the buttons.

BIG SOUND for such a small speaker it's looks amazing every where I set it it has a sound bass that will absolutely catch you off guard it absolutely BLEW MY MIND! Plus your have the ALEXA which is BY FAR THE BEST VOICE ASSISTANT there is available and for anyone who might care MUSIC RARELY EVER GETS OVERTAKEN BY BASS (meaning the vocals don't get quited/over taken by bass constantly unlike others out there) I now have 2 of these and love them both and 100% RECOMMEND THIS SPEAKER TO ANY AND EVERYONE! (Speaker does require internet/WiFi connection along with constant power)

What it can do is only limited by your lack of imagination, and adding new skills daily. I have one in almost all my rooms now. I use them for surround sound for music. I use her for news , recipes, find my Cel phone , phone calls , intercoms, Messages, and she can add reminders on my Cel phone, operation of security cameras, smart thermostat, control lights and much more. I am always learning new skills she has almost daily and it would be hard for me live without her now. I think it’s like getting a new car with all the bells and whistles You didn’t really need but afterwards you can’t live without:-) What can’t she do? PS great speaker sound also

I have several Echo Dots in the house. They are cheap and work fine, however I've always wished that they delivered more oompf with music. Although I have an excellent home stereo set up I purchased an Echo Studio last year to see what it could do. I returned it shortly thereafter unimpressed for what it is for the price. I happened to basically stumble upon this model a few weeks ago reading an article online. It was on sale for $70 so I gave it a shot. My kids would much rather use it for convenience and smart features than my old school stereo. I have been very pleased with it. It doesn't have quite the sound as the Studio but it far surpasses the Dot. If you are looking for improved sound quality and volume this should be your choice. I would still recommend it for off sale price of $100 but if you wait for the next $70 it's a slam dunk. I plan on buying another one or two.

Yes, the Amazon echo is a smaller speaker. I wanted this speaker just for Alexa but when I played music, this speaker sounds really good. It's gets really loud and has a decent amount of bass. I bought an Amazon echo sub and now it's even better! I really recommend this speaker. It will definitely blow your expectations away!

The sound is powerful. I can hear throughout the house. It is very easy to set up and I am not technically inclined. It is small enough to secure behind an object or stor in the corner out of view...but there when you want to access the sound. I love it.

This is my second Amazon Echo, my first of the current generation and I have to say I love this thing. Setup is easy and straightforward and connecting with eligible devices is a breeze. I love the quality, the color, and it’s really a well made product. The speaker is nice and loud and sounds pretty good. Nothing amazing but it definitely sounds like a good quality speaker. I love being able to play music through Spotify wirelessly and I connected my echo to my hue bulbs so I can control my lights and music with just the sound of my voice. I was skeptical for a long time before I ever bought one of these and now I can’t imagine not having at least in my home.

Lonely? Need a friend to talk to? Too lazy to press the play button on your phone or to tell Siri/Iris/Cortana to do it? Or you just really someone who has a library of flatulence noises at his/her disposal? Look no further! Gotten quite a few laughs out of Alexa. Wonder what she and Amazon think of us, asking for toot noises, cat sounds, doorbell sounds, door knocks, fire engine sound, etc... Anyway, she can do a lot! And this one looks classy, but she ain't afraid to let it rip when asked!

I have wanted one for awhile but my husband thought it was just silly....until he was at a trivia night at our favorite bar and two of his team mates mentioned how fun it was to have Alexa to quiz him on the daily Jeopardy questions...and all sorts of other trivia. He came home asking about "this Echo thing" his buddies were talking about . I told him I would look into it. I read up on it and chose this echo 3 version as it is said to have a top notch speaker and my husband loves to listen to doo wop and 50's music and old time radio shows. His birthday was that in middle of July so he got his Echo for that.. and he loves it. The sound quality is amazing !! Still learning what all she can help us with and getting Alexa linked to my Samsung Galaxy smart phone. This echo3 is worth the extra amount over an echo 2 for the great sound upgrade in the echo 3. We are loving the new addition to our family...Alexa!!

I was skeptical replacing my Bose Soundlink II bluetooth speaker in my bedroom with this but I'm glad I did. Only negative I can say is that this is associated with Alexa. It has truly been a pain letting Alexa control this great sounding speaker. Even Alexa with her limitations cant bring down the performance of this speaker. Bass is unexpectedly "thumping " from such a small package. One unit is enough to fill a large room with clear, high fidelity sound with an adequate bass response.

Wonderful product with no issues the entire family loves Alexa with no issues thus far. It’s fun for the whole family with built in games and just endless fun of asking Alexa questions. Alexa has been used everyday since I bought it and has been very helpful with cooking instructions, timer, reminders, even speaker as my wife is able to and speak through it from her phone to the speaker to speak to us and let us know she’s on her way and if we need anything or just to say hi.
