The description lists this as a Range Extender. It is not, it is a meshpoint that allows you to use your existing router as a mesh network. Coverage is wonderful and allows you to use your existing SSID from your router in addition to not cutting the connection speeds in half for the devices that connect to the meshpoint. Highly recommended.

Painless set up, all I had to do was add it to my existing AmpliFi router then it's up and running. This really made a difference in the signal and speed of my wifi in my home office. I live in an apartment building where wifi signals are interfering with each other because there are too many of them of these day!!, this mesh point and the same brand router fixed those problems. Firmware updates are delivered by the app on my iPhone. Definitely worth buying!

I have a large outbuilding about 120 yards from my home that houses a workshop, garage, and exercise/home office space where I couldn't get access to the internet via my home wifi network due to lack of signal strength. I purchased the Amplifi Router kit with two of these access points and added a third access point in my outbuilding as suggested by the Geek Squad techs at Best Buy. This product resolved that issue for me beyond my expectations. I can now do everything on my laptop inside that outbuilding that I can do in my house with internet speeds testing at between 23 Mbps and 34 Mbps in the workshop and exercise/ home office while the house network maintains 100 plus Mbps wireless speeds. I get my internet service through xfinity (Comcast) if your wondering. It beats running hard wire from my in house router out to the building 350 feet away and adding all of the other necessary equipment to broadcast wifi signal off my existing internet account or adding an expensive additional account to that building and paying two bills for internet access.

I needed to extend my Wi-Fi range. Personally read a bunch of reviews that lead me to purchase this brand/product. Easy to set/up and it did the job.

I needed to reach my network at the back of my house and it helped. I didn’t get the best reception but it was better than what I had without costly rewriting.

This was just what we needed. Wifi didnt reach far office down the hall in a large office suite. Low signal and spotty. We connected this receiver in the office we wanted better signal. Setup to the existing router was easy and best part is the router doesn't even have to be a mesh router. The speed doubled and signal is running at full. Will use this product for future applications. Highly recommend.

The range on this extender is awesome. I have a 3,400 square foot home with my router on 1 end & this extender on the other end of my house. I get great coverage & it was a breeze to install.

Never had reception on the other side of the house. I DO NOW! And this is just the antenna. It was the best $99.00 I spent on improving my WiFi. And I only needed one. Full bars now! I looked at several Mesh systems. AmpliFi had the best spec's in my option.

I tried using a normal range extender to reach the far corner of my house. My daughter has a smart tv, and the range extender cut the speed too much for Netflix to work properly. Bought this mesh WiFi extender and problem solved. Works great.

I’m so glad I purchased the AmpliFi MeshPoint Wi-fi Extender. I should have done it a long time ago. It did exactly as described in the description by expanding the coverage of my wi-if connection. I’m very pleased I made this purchase.

This is paired with the main Amplifi HD unit. I initially got it so I dont have any dead spots in coverage. I ended up using it in the garage because the main unit was ample enough for the main house.

I chose the Amplifi system for it's further reaching wifi signal for our lake home. Seems to be working well. Good product for the price. Just wish they made an outdoor rated mesh point for the system like their old system did.

I had a hard time getting good WiFi signal throughout my house until I found these. They are great and now I even have signal a good way outside the house as well.

I needed something to extend Wi-fi to a camper trailer sitting nearly out of range of the router in the house. Plugged this into a wall plug on the camper, and I had usable internet again.

I have been interested in setting up a mesh network for a while in my house. It is about 3000 sq ft and I had a few areas where the wifi signal was spotty. I really wasn't keen on the idea of having to throw away my old router and spend $300-$400 to on a mesh system. The MeshPoint let me keep my existing router and have a mesh system at the same time. Now I no longer have dead spots in my house.

I have a single extender. Does boost coverage. Router on the 2nd floor, my devices in the basement. No problems with set up.
