The Anker Soundcore Space 2 has quietly become my daily driver headphones. These over the ear, wireless, noise cancelling headphones are built around two important things: big battery life, and all-day comfort, and they do it well. I wasn't expecting this much from these headphones but they exceeded my expectations and I'll tell you why. - Unboxing - Opening the box is pretty straightforward. You get the headphones folded flat, a soft cloth travel pouch, a USB-C charging cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening. The pouch is great for tossing them into a backpack, it's durable, but will mainly help you avoid dust and other light spills if it's bouncing around in a travel bag or backpack. There's a quick start guide and additional documentation, as well as a QR code that leads you to the app and an online manual. - Design & Build - My pair came in black and the body is mostly plastic with a metal frame underneath. They feel durable and there's no creaking or cheap feel to the build. The cups swivel flat and fold inward so they fit in the bag easily and travel well. The controls are all physical buttons. The left side holds the USB-C port and the 3.5mm jack. The right side handles play/pause, track skipping, calls, and whatever you assign to it. There's no water or dust resistance rating, so be aware when you're out in the elements. There's a wear-detection sensor inside the left cup, make sure you remove the protective film. The biggest surprise to me is the comfort. The earcups and the headband have a plush soft leather feel to them. These are up there with the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. The headband and ear cushions are wrapped in memory foam with a soft leather finish and the cups are big enough that my ears sat completely inside without hitting the inside walls. There is a ton of interior space even with my large head. They're so light, it keeps any pressure off the top of your head for long stretches. - Specs & Features - These headphones are light, weighing in at about 265 grams. The Drivers are 40mm double-layer diaphragm. Noise Canceling is ANC 3.0, 4 stage low frequency system with enhanced sensors, an upgraded processor, and an optimized acoustic chamber. There are 3 modes of ANC: Noise Cancellation, Normal, and Transparency. Bluetooth is 6.1 with dual device connection (Great for PC & Phone simultaneously. Codecs are SBC, AAC, and LDAC. It delivers Hi-Res Audio and it's Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. The Battery life is up to 50 hours with ANC on and 70 hours with ANC off, impressive! A quick 5 minute charge gives you 4 hours of playback. Charging is USB-C. There is a 3.5mm AUX jack and a 3-mic array with AI noise reduction. - Software/App - The Space 2 Soundcore app is something you need to setup properly to get the most out of your headphones. First of all, there's a comprehensive guide that includes any troubleshooting you might need. The home screen gives you access to the listening modes and sound customization. There's a big stack of EQ presets plus a full custom equalizer. HearID runs a quick hearing test and then a preference test that builds a personal profile. I've seen this before with a couple of other headsets and it can turn the sound from flat to something your ears can enjoy. There's a 3d sound setting that will increase depth. You can setup all of your buttons as you see fit. Don't miss the multi-function button customization. Mine defaulted to Siri for the iPhone app, but there's also an Nap Mode, that plays looping ambient and white-noise tracks with noise cancelling on, along with a handful of other built-in sounds you can cycle through with the volume buttons once it's running. There's also Anka Voice Assistant, and AI translation. AI translation is convenient, it will detect the language spoken and translate it to your screen in the app. - Performance - Noise cancelling is excellent. Soundcore builds this around a 4 stage low frequency system, called adaptive ANC 3.0. It goes after low frequency the hardest so the AC unit, road noise, or where I work we have heavy machinery in adjacent rooms outside of the office. The seal on the cups does the initial work and then the active noise cancellation kicks in. Sound quality starts out a little flat, but there are so many preset sound profiles to choose from to dial in the sound. You can customize the equalizer as well, but I settled on the Rock preset. I would also recommend using the HearID on the app to build the profile specifically for your ears. Spend 10 minutes setting up your sound and you will be happier with your music. Battery is a strong point for these headphones. They're rated up to 70 hours and even with heavy use I got about a week off my first charge. If you need to finish up a podcast or listening to an album, you can charge for 5 minutes and you've got 4 more hours. Calls are clear. People heard me clearly indoors and even outside with wind and road noise. It was also great for conference calls at my work. - Pros & Cons - *Pros* * Excellent noise cancelling, low frequency is almost gone * Comfort is outstanding with plenty of room in the well padded cups * Long battery life, useful quick charge * Tons of Equalizer presets * Clear phone/conference calls *Suggestions/Needs Improvement* * Default sound could be better (Dial in your EQ on setup) * No Water/Dust resistance * Picks up dust and smudges quickly * I would love to see a premium build version Overall, I love the comfort, ANC, and sound depth of the Anker Soundcore Space 2 headphones. It's an easy recommendation to anyone for a great all-around pair of headphones. If you're looking for premium features, comfort, and exceptional noise cancellation, this is it.

Right out of the box, the Soundcore Anker Space 2 wireless Bluetooth noise cancelling over‑ear headphones strike a great first impression with a simple yet elegant design that looks more premium than their price would suggest. Despite the large ear cups and solid build, they are surprisingly lightweight, which immediately makes them feel more comfortable than some bigger name brand options I have tried in the past. The comfort only gets better once you put them on. The memory foam style padding on both the headband and ear cups is very soft, and the over‑ear design fully surrounds the ears without creating hot spots or pressure points. The ear cups feel plush and supportive, and after wearing them for extended sessions, they actually feel better than a few of the more expensive big brand headphones I own, which was a pleasant surprise. Out of the box, the headphones will work just fine by simply pairing them over Bluetooth and hitting play, but to really unlock what they can do, the Soundcore app is a must. The app feels very AI‑driven, like a lot of tech these days, and that brings with it a huge list of features and fine‑tuning options. I will admit I was a little bummed that I had to download the app and then sit through a firmware update before I could really dial in the sound and features the way I wanted, but once that process was done, the level of control made the short wait worthwhile. Within the app, there are more options than most people will probably ever need, but for a tech enthusiast, it is a lot of fun to explore. You get access to detailed EQ settings to sculpt the sound exactly to your preference, AI chat features, voice prompts, wear detection that pauses audio when you remove the headphones, and multiple levels and modes of noise cancellation and transparency. The active noise cancelling performance in particular is phenomenal, doing an excellent job of cutting out household noise, TV sounds, and even a fair amount of outside traffic so you can focus on your music or movie. In terms of sound quality, these headphones easily hold their own. The volume gets pretty high while staying clear and crisp, and even at louder listening levels there is no noticeable distortion. Highs, mids, and lows are all very good, giving music and movies a rich, full sound without muddying vocals or overpowering bass. Whether watching action movies, listening to podcasts, or streaming music, the audio experience has been consistently enjoyable. Battery life is another standout area. The listed battery specs are impressive on paper, and so far real‑world performance has matched those expectations. I have worn these in bed watching movies over Bluetooth connected to the TV so I do not disturb my wife and have actually fallen asleep with them on more than once. That alone says a lot about both the comfort and the battery life, since they still had plenty of charge left the next day. The noise cancelling helped tune out her snoring as well, which was an unexpected bonus. Overall, the Soundcore Anker Space 2 headphones deliver a very compelling package. Between the lightweight yet premium feel, extremely comfortable memory foam padding, excellent noise cancelling, customizable sound through the app, and long‑lasting battery, they are easy to recommend. Even though needing the app and waiting on the firmware update was a small initial annoyance, once everything was updated and configured, these headphones proved to be well worth the investment.

The Anker - Soundcore Space 2 noise canceling headphones are an excellent set of cans that do a tremendous job at both blocking out external sounds and helping you craft the perfect EQ for your listening needs. A tiny quibble with the button ergonomics doesn't take away from the fact that these headphones are excellent for listening to music whether at home or out in the world, and especially competitive within their price range. The stars of the show here are the noise canceling and Anker's HearID (in the Soundcore App). The former is quite excellent, with a great isolation and a very good audio pass-through mode that isn't too harsh. The latter is one of the best implementations of personal EQ'ing I've had the pleasure of using. HearIQ asked me to listen to a clip of an Asian pop song and choose whether is sounded better in a comparison between two EQ curves. After several rounds of these comparisons, I was able to find a great match for my hearing preferences using the software, and then customize that initial curve using the advanced setting by mixing in a bit of my preferred genre (in this case, Rock). It left me with with a curve set precisely to my need for somewhat higher treble (middle-aged musician ears), but which introduced back in some lower mid range oomph. Going back to the preset EQs pales in comparison. The headphones are made of quality materials, with plush and soft ear cushions (which do trap a bit of heat) and a very pleasant headband cushion as well. Neither of these seem particularly replaceable without performing some advanced disassembly, so that's a place where these cans might be showing their price point a bit. The band places just the right amount of pressure on your head and feels comfortable even with glasses. I am a person sensitive to pressure on the sides of my head while wearing glasses, and these phones are among the best I've tried when it comes to that particular material design touch. One notable feature is a "wearing detection" sensor that pauses whatever you're listening to with about a second if you take the headphones off. I've found it to work quite well, and I appreciate the ability to turn if off and perform calibration in the app if necessary. Back to the small complaint: All the buttons on the ear cups are smooth and the same size, with sunken type (except for the larger volume toggle, on which the minus sign is raised), which leaves a bit to be desired. I would have preferred some variation in size, shape, or a tactile cue like raised bumps. Either way, it's a very minor concern and the setup will not be difficult to get used to.

The Anker Soundcore Space 2 headset (try saying that fast five times…) is… fine. I know that is not exactly a ringing endorsement, but the audio quality lands somewhere between fine and good. The headset is light and comfortable, though it does get warm over time. ANC does a solid job blocking nearby noise, but transparency mode can introduce a hiss and some playback distortion. “HearID” is a game changer, while “3D Sound” sounds awful. The default Soundcore tuning is a little flat and lifeless, but once you dial it in with HearID and the EQ, it can sound quite good. If my thoughts seem a little scattered, that is because they are. This headset has some genuinely excellent features such as LDAC, multipoint LDAC, amazing battery life, and wear detection but the audio quality and heat buildup keep me from really heaping on the praise. I cannot call this headset great, but it is good. And, hey, sometimes good is enough. UNBOXING: Anker includes the headset, a travel pouch, 3.5mm cable, and a small USB-C charging cable. EXPERIENCE: Users should download the Anker Soundcore App from their Google or Apple app store to complete setup and fine tune the headset. I had a firmware update out of the box. This headset is light. The cushions are springy. My ear never felt like it was touching the inside of the ear cup. But the cushions and casing itself are fingerprint magnets. The ear cushions look greasy after just a bit of wear. And while light, heat build up is awful. It is summer here and I found it difficult to keep these on for more than an hour at a time due to heat build-up. Out of the box, sound quality is a bit flat. Setting up HearID within the Soundcore App does help the experience and tweaking the EQ does help, but it is important to keep audio expectations in check. I also noticed some audible hissing and playback distortions while passthrough audio was enabled. I must shout out HearID feature which conducts a hearing test to adjust frequencies to your specific hearing needs. I think this feature works well. There is also a 3D Sound mode that just made everything echo and I could not find a point in it. Anker has a sensor built into the left speaker for wear detection, but you should know that wear detection is not enabled by default out of the box. You need to turn the feature on from within the Anker Soundcore Application. With wear detection on, media playback will pause if you take the headset off. Google fast pair worked great. After I paired the headset with my phone, my Google TV instantly asked if I wanted to pair with it. Other positive quality of life features include physical buttons on the headset, an amazing 50+ hour battery life, LDAC support, and a 3.5mm jack for legacy devices like PCs and gaming consoles. I appreciate Anker providing a travel bag for travels, and, speaking of traveling, ANC works well. Microphone quality is fine. Except for voice calls in wind, the people I spoke with had no problems hearing me. CONCLUSION: My biggest gripes with this headset are heat build-up, greasy cushions, and good but not great audio playback quality. There is a richness with other headsets that is simply lacking here. Vocals can easily become muffled or drowned out in the signature default mode. Tweaks with HearID help a lot, but even with those tweaks, there is still something lacking in the overall audio quality. Still, I know I will use this headset on travels and at home. I love the battery life and baked in features. I am recommending the Space 2, but be sure to download the app. 4/5

The soundcore Space 2 headphones are not my first soundcore (or Anker) product. I have a set of soundcore Liberty earbuds and my daughter has the previous generation Space One headphones (she absolutely loves them). I also have several of Anker's solid charging cables. The Space 2 headphones are an excellent value and delivery sound quality on par with more expensive options. Pros 1. Solid build quality and comfortable to wear. The hinges that allow them to fold for storage are tight and there is no squeaky plastic sound when adjusting them or wearing them. Plastics are nicely textured with a subtle design and plenty of adjustment. The headband is nicely cushioned for wearing for longer periods and is comfortable to where with my glasses. It also does not stick to my head (I am bald). My daughter has braids, the headphones easily extended to fit over her hair and we had no issue with her hair getting caught in the hinges. 2. Active noise cancelling (ANC) is effective and noticeably improved over my daughter's Space One headphone (which were already good). Mechanical noises are muted almost completely even at low volume and at moderate volume all background noise, including most conversations, is blocked out. Thankfully there is a transparency option which allows you to listen to the world around you when needed or to hold a conversation without having to take the headphones off. 3. There are physical buttons for volume, noise cancelling mode, play/pause/call, and power/pairing. There also some limited options to configure button behavior in the soundcore app. 4. Good sound quality with high quality audio connection support (Bluetooth LDAC for Android and Hi-Res for wired). There are lots of audio adjustments via the soundcore app. The app offers an audio test (HearID) to make a custom equalizer curve just for you, that you can then tweak to your liking. The HearID setting really improved the clarity for me and I added in a bit more bass to get the get the sound just where I wanted it. Volume is also very good (I rarely listen at above 80%) and I experienced no distortion at max volume (even with bass heavy music). 5. Excellent battery life. I have not had to recharge them yet, but in the 6 days I have owned them, I am averaging around 1-2% per hour of listening with noise cancelling enabled - this is in line or a little better than the 50hours quoted by soundcore (battery life is even better with noise cancelling off). 6. Wired operation (with an included 4ft headphone cable) is available for devices with a headphone jack. 7. Works well as a headset and manages ambient noise well. Phone calls were clear on my end and people on the other end said I sounded better than when using my cellphone with reduced background noise. 8. The headphones have 4 built-in white noise tracks that can be enabled to help you sleep, concentrate, or meditate. They actually work really well when paired with the excellent noise cancelation. 9. Supports multiple Bluetooth connections and allows you to manage them via the soundcore app. Things to Consider 1. The soundcore app works well and really is required to get the most out of these headphones. Default audio settings are decent, but these perform even better with the adjustable equalizer available in the app. You also have to use the app to enable wearing detection and the white noise feature (nap mode), which are off by default for some reason. There are also a lot of other features/settings in the various menus that are worth finding (battery level, auto off, volume limiting, Bluetooth connection management, notifications, help/guides, support). 2. Wearing detection works well most of the time to pause playback if you take the headphones off and is pretty handy (once you configure it in the app). You do have to keep the sensor clean and it might not work in dim light.

I’ve been using the Anker Space 2 headphones exclusively for listening to my favorite tunes, podcasts and bed time tracks and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to headphones. I love music, it’s my passion and for a while my life. I like to feel the music and be immersed in it. I notice and hear every little note, hi hat, bass thump and guitar strum. So I love a great sounding pair of headphones. That being said, while these aren’t the best sounding headphones I’ve ever experienced. They certainly provide what I look for in a pair of headphones. My only gripe with it is that it requires the use of an app to activate those features. Not a huge deal, or a deal breaker by any means. But you have to take a couple of extra steps with a separate to get there. I get it though, everyone has different preferences when it comes to sound. So having an integrated app allows everyone to tune it to their liking. The app allows your to customize the EQ to your liking or you can use a preset simply called “3D Sound”. That was my favorite preset. It gives me that immersive sound I look for in headphones. I smiled when I toggled it on. Initially I was unimpressed with the sound quality, but after I loaded up the app and started messing with settings I was impressed. The 3D sound preset makes you feel like you’re sitting in an hall and the music envelopes you. It would be cool if you could tweak the EQ further while in this mode, but for now the app seems to lock it to their setting. All in all, I have to admit that the sound quality is superb for this price point. Build quality is also excellent. They feel premium. The pads on the earcups are soft and squishy, very comfortable. The headband is strong while lightweight. They sit perfectly over my ears and provide excellent noise cancellation. If I had to nitpick and complain about anything, I would say the over reliance of an app. But like I said before, I’d be nit picking. You obviously need to use software to get the most out of these, so BE SURE to scan the QR code in the box and download the app. I was excited to use the “white noise” function for taking naps and falling asleep but a lot of the stuff on the app for it is the same stuff I already use on YouTube. I suppose the upside to using the Anker app for this purpose would be that you don’t end up with some crazy conspiracy video or other irrelevant video playing while you’re asleep lol. If you’re still reading, and on the fence about these headphones. Go ahead and buy them, I think they’re an excellent value. It’s hard to find better headphones in this price point. They are comfortable and sound great. Especially in 3D sound mode.

The Anker Soundcore Space 2 wireless headphone continues the tradition started by its predecessor (Soundcore Space One) by offering features and performance that punches way above its weight. Inside the box includes the following items: Anker Soundcore Space 2 headphones Soft carry pouch USB-C charging cable 3.5 Aux cable The headphones are light and have a very attractive design. While mostly made of plastic, it does not feel cheap. The ear cup and head band cushions are thicker and seem improved over the Soundcore One. Ear clamping pressure is firm and I was able to comfortably wear these headphones for hours without discomfort. My ears did sweat a little after extended use but that’s because it’s now summer time and I’ve been frugal with my air conditioning. Setup Setup was easy. Just download the Soundcore App and connect to the new headphones. Once the app connected to my new Soundcore Space 2, it upgraded the firmware to v1.53. The physical layout of the physical controls/buttons are very intuitive. There are 2 buttons on the left ear piece and 2 buttons on the right ear piece. The left earpiece contains a USB-C charging port, a 3.5 Aux connector, a button for turning the headphone ON/OFF and Bluetooth pairing and another button for switching between the Noise Cancellation modes. The right earpiece contains a button for increasing/decreasing volume (or advancing/repeating tracks) and a multi-function button MFB (used for answering/ending/rejecting calls, bringing up your System Voice Assistant or the new Anka Voice Assistant, AI Translation or Nap Mode) Sound Quality Overall, I am very happy with the sound quality. The overall sound is spacious and clear with very good bass response. The default settings do seem to emphasize the bass a little but you have the option to use the many available equalization presets to get the sound to your liking. Of the presets available, I liked the “Soundcore Signature” and “Acoustic” the best. The “Acoustic” setting seemed more spacious to me with more emphasis on the midrange. If none of the presets are to your liking, you can manually adjust the 8-band equalizer to have a custom profile. After playing around with the equalizations options, I settled down on using the HearID Sound settings. This involved measuring your hearing response and having the app automagically produce a sound profile to fit your measured hearing response. Noise Cancellation The noise cancellation performs very well. It offers 3 modes (Noise Cancellation, Normal, and Transparency). With Noise Cancellation, it effectively blocks out the low frequency noise so I didn’t hear my air conditioner or fan running in the background. With nothing playing, outside voices do come through a little but if I am listening to music, I don’t really notice it. I thought the Space One had excellent noise reduction and the Space 2 might be slightly better to my ears. With Transparency mode ON, it seems to add a low level of white background noise when nothing is playing. Overall, I thought the active noise cancellation modes were excellent. Call Quality To test call quality, I connected the Soundcore Space 2 to my laptop and recorded my voice using the microphone in the Soundcore Space 2 as well as the microphone on my laptop. The recording from the Soundcore Space 2’s microphone was louder and clearer than the recording from the laptop’s microphone. Battery Life Battery life was excellent. It’s rated for 50 hours of playback with ANC ON and 70 hours with ANC OFF and can fast charge for 4 hours of playback in only 5 minutes. I didn’t do a rigorous test of battery life but the headphones lasted several days of testing without the need to recharge. Fast charging did seem to work as advertised as I was able to charge from 60% to 100% in only about 30 minutes. Miscellaneous Features I briefly tested the new Anka Voice Assistant which was actually quite capable. You can access Anka by doing a long press of the MFB button on the right ear cup (if you have programmed it to bring up Anka) or by saying “Hey Anka”. I asked Anka for the weather and other simple questions and it seemed to perform similarly to Alexa. Based on my short experience with Anka, it seems like Anka is AI-based. I then programmed the MFB button to bring up NAP mode, and when pressed, it basically plays back some “white noise” tracks to help you sleep. I don’t think I will ever wear this headphone while sleeping but I can see a use case where you are on a plane while wearing headphones in NAP mode to drown out the background noise to help you take a nap. Finally, I tried out the AI Translation.feature of the Soundcore 2. This uses your phone to offer real-time translation between English and another language. The default other language was Spanish and I couldn’t figure out how to change it to another foreign language or whether this was even possible. For testing, I played a YouTube video of a person speaking Spanish and it actually seemed to do a pretty good job of it translating. The realtime Spanish translation appears as English text on the phone and in verbal English on the headphones. Sometimes there is a delay in the translation and if the person is speaking a mix of Spanish and English it can mess up the translation a little. Overall, this feels like an experimental feature that could function well in certain use cases (like listening to a lecture given in Spanish). Summary Overall, I can easily recommend the Anker Soundcore Space 2 to anyone looking for a wireless headphone with active noise cancellation. The Anker Soundcore Space 2 punches well above its weight offering performance and features that approach premium wireless headphones but at a fraction of the cost. It is a leader in price/performance.

About a year and a half ago, I bought the original Soundcore Space 1 headphones for my daughter. I wanted her to get her first decent pair of headphones that wouldn't break the bank, especially considering the abuse they'd probably endure. Soundcore fit the bill, and I'm happy to say that she is still using them to this day. They've been tossed around, sat on, dropped, easily seen hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of use, and still work just as they did on day 1. This review however is on the new Soundcore Space 2 Headphones. I got the chance to get these and figured they'd be good to have on hand as a replacement set for the Space 1 that my daughter is using. It would also give me a chance to see how the Soundcores perform, as I've honestly not once tried out my daughter's Space 1s. First thing I looked at after unboxing the Space 2 is how they compared physically to the Space 1. Overall, they're extremely similar. The biggest difference is the design of the ear cups. The Space 2 has more of a solid one-piece cup whereas the Space 1 is more of a two-piece design where the outer cup is smaller and the inner cup can swivel. While I do like the original Space 1 design better, I'm pretty sure this change was to allow for the various improvements Soundcore made in functionality. If you're also coming from the Space 1 and like how they perform, then you'll love the Space 2. Everything works mostly the same but you're getting improved battery life, improved sound quality and improved noise cancellation. The noise cancellation itself is top-notch. With no other sound playing through the headphones, it removes most droning sounds and quiets everything down. Start playing some music and the world around you disappears. It's easily just as good if not better than the noise cancellation in my other premium headphones I have, which cost 3 times as much. This was all confirmed when I had my daughter use these Space 2 headphones for a couple days. At one point my wife was screaming out our daughter's name trying to get her attention and looked at me and said, "it's those **** new headphones!". It was quite noticeable how much better these Space 2s were drowning out exterior sounds. The sound quality itself is well balanced with excellent clarity. If you need to adjust any sound settings you can do so with the Soundcore app, but I found the defaults to be more than good enough. I've been using these not just for listening to music, but also while editing videos where I need to more clearly hear speech, and they've done the job for both. Another thing I really like about these, and why I've been mostly using these over my other headphones, is that I can use them both wired and wirelessly. When I just want to listen to music, I tend to also be moving around and prefer to go wireless. When I'm editing videos though, I prefer being wired as this assures me that the audio is as perfectly synced with the video as possible, which I need for some of the more precise cuts I tend to have to make. As for the wireless connection, the bluetooth works flawlessly. Pairing and connecting was as easy as it gets and didn't give any issues whatsoever and kept a consistent connection. Last thing to really talk about is comfort. Since these will need to endure marathon sessions at times, it's important that they don't leave you wanting to throw them off after a couple hours. Fortunately, these don't have that problem. In fact, as I'm typing this review out, I've been wearing them for almost 6 hours. All that said, I do think this is where the more budget friendly cost makes itself known. I've had and worn other headphones that were definitely a lot lighter feeling and comfortable, but again, those came at a much higher cost, and these are still more than adequate. Overall, these really do outperform anything else you can get at a budget, and hit way above their belt, competing with only the best. So if you're looking for something affordable but don't want to sacrifice the things that matter most with headphones, you really can't beat these. For now, my daughter will keep using her old Space 1s that still work great, and I'll be using these Space 2s as my primary working headset, especially when I'm working remotely.

I had only used one other headphone type made by Anker, so I did not know what to expect from the new Soundcore Space 2 over-the-ear headphones. When I unboxed the headphones and started setting them up for the first use, I liked that this set came with a pouch to keep your charging cord accessories and to carry the headphones when on the go. I then went to download their application and realized I still had it installed on my iPhone from the prior model I tried out. Suddenly, the whole package view of what they offered went up a notch because it has all the features and settings to make the headphones much better value since you had control over many different settings such as noise canceling levels and equalizer customizations you could tweak. I did have a problem with one of the custom settings that it needs to measure the unique frequency of sounds you can hear but I failed at it compared to other brands that offer specialized hearing tests. The app also has an AI assistant built in while you use the application, but I normally do not need to use it for anything. After I fully charged the headphone battery to 100 percent, I began the official testing of pairing it via Bluetooth with my IOS devices and Android phones. I really was hoping the “enhanced noise cancelling optimized for low-frequency noise” feature would be as good as they described it. I am in a normally quiet home environment, but a prolonged foundation repair, and flooring remodel has super loud equipment that causes me to keep noise cancelling headphones nearby. I was relieved that the Soundcore 2 headphones did block out almost the entire obnoxiously loud machines. I have been impressed with the built-in features and options it provides so that I can enjoy them while listening to music while working or watching streaming media on my iPad or one of my laptops. The only issue I noticed was that they became uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing them, and I took a break for a little while. I was then able to continue to use them after they cooled off for a little while. I know they say that the battery life can be 50 hours with ANC on, and up to 70 hours with ANC off. To be honest, I would only get up to 40 hours of use over a few days in a row so I cannot say that they will last so long but every user is different in the ways and levels they use headphones, so I hope others experience longer times than I did. It did not even cross my mind at first because I typically do not wear headphones for such a long period of time but will come in handy for the next international flight to get a better idea of prolonged use of the headphones. Overall, I think they have done a great job with this new model and are worth the price for the special features.

TL:DR - Great sound, the app is well done, there’s no need for an account. The build is amazing, but for bigger heads and ogre ears like myself, it can get a bit uncomfortable with long use. The battery life seems never ending as well. Definitely a must buy! —------------ These are my first over the ear headphones for music and media from my mobile devices. I am very familiar with gaming over the ear headsets, but I’ve never wanted to use them for media. Typically I use earbuds or the device's speakers for music, video, or movies, but I gotta say, I have been missing out and I’m glad that ends with these headphones. YouTube, Reels, TikToks, etc. not really that different from a good set of earbuds in my opinion, but for Netflix, CrunchyRoll, HiDive, Hulu, etc. much better! The bass, and explosions in certain scenes, the fight scenes, racing, etc., all sound so much more crisp. For music, we have YouTube Music, and compared to my earbuds, again this was way better. The noise cancellation and sound quality and sound separation was incredible! The bass was punchy, and thumpy which is what I liked on some songs. I did play around with the EQ a bit but ultimately ended up just using the SoundCore Signature Sound profile because it was good enough for me. Especially with LDAC turned on! As for the fit, it’s a little uncomfortable for long use for me. It’s a little tight on my head, like the clamping force is a bit rough, but the materials are super soft and feel premium particularly the ear cups. I tried to use them while mowing the lawn and my ears did get too hot, and I don’t think they’re good for that kind of thing, but that said it didn’t fall off or slide around. Maybe my ogre head and ears are too big for this thing. For the things I didn’t like, well when you have it paired to two devices, in my case the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11, and my iPhone, sometimes it’ll play from the wrong device. For example, I put my daughters down for a nap, and wanted to listen to some music and because I had looked at the app checking on them first, it wouldn’t switch to my Android tablet. I had to force close the app on my iPhone to get it to switch to my Tablet. But when I opened my app again, it didn’t switch to my iPhone (which is a good thing) and I was able to keep watching my tablet. BUT the moment I paused it to watch something different it switched back to my iPhone and I was back to listening to the kiddos in their room. Ultimately I had to turn off bluetooth on my iPhone temporarily. The Auto Play/Pause feature didn’t work… or so I thought. Turns out you have to turn it on. It’s off by default. Which I thought was weird. I feel like that should be an opt out feature rather than an opt in. The app is also pretty good IMO. Long story short, I like these a lot. The battery life, build, and performance is amazing. The only gripe is two device auto detection, and it’s a little tight for my head.

The Anker Soundcore Space 2 Wireless headphones are a great buy at this price range. Good sound that can be customized the way you want, long battery life and comfortable. Great straight out of the box, and better with the Anker Soundcore App. After a charge they are ready to use. They come with a carry bag for convenience, and the cups fold 90 degrees and in for a smaller size. The cups are labeled left and right. The left side has a 3.5mm jack, USB-C charging, on/off power button, and a multi-function button (MFB). The left cup has volume, and a noise cancellation (NC) button. Everything is buttons, not touch, so no accidental changes will happen. Buttons are in good positions to press and have a good response. The MFB and NC buttons can have their functions modified/changed in the Anker App. They are rated for 50 hours battery life and have a fast recharge to get you back to the music for a few hours. The package contains a 3.5mm and USB-C cords. The NC goes from full NC to Normal, and then Transparent by default. Full NC is very good. The earcups fully cover your ears with a good seal. The Normal may feel better for longer periods, and transparent lets you hear everything around you. I used them for 3 hours in a car dealership and the NC was great. Didn’t hear the repairs being done, and it blocked the waiting room TV as well. Towards the end when I was waiting for my name to be called, I switched to transparent and could hear everything. The earcups are comfortable. After 2 hours they felt great, at about 2.5 to 3 I started to feel them, so a long time with comfort. Phones calls came in crystal clear. I was able to hear and be heard with no issues. The calling button functions cannot be changed. The MFB and NC buttons can be changed in the App based on long, single or double presses. With the App, in addition to changing the button functions you can also set the equalizer and sound balance. The default is flat setting. There are 21 different settings by music type, bass or treble on or off etc. With this you can really customize the music to your liking. The first 5 settings show up on the top of the sound page. You can pick your top 5 for ease of use, but all are always available to use. If you don’t like any of them, you can use the EQ to make custom settings with 8 bands. There is also a 3D sound setting more a more in depth music presence, and HearID Sound to personize the headset. It asks your age, does the beeps from a hearing test, and then asks you decide between several music playbacks. I found, depending on the type of music it could help over the default EQ settings. The HearID did make vocal clearer for me. I had no problems using Hi-Def sources to listen too. Overall, these are great ANC headphones. Simple button use, and with the App you can customize the sound to your liking. Even without the App, the headphones are good out of the box. You load everything in the carry bag and go. Comfort for hours and excellent sound. A solid set of headphones for anywhere you go.

I’ve been using the Anker Soundcore Space 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, they’ve surprised me in all the right ways. For the price, these headphones deliver way more than I expected. Sound Quality: Out of the box, the sound was decent but a little off—almost like the tuning wasn’t quite balanced. Once I jumped into the Soundcore app and tweaked the EQ, the sound quality improved vastly. The bass hits nicely without being muddy; vocals are clear, and the overall sound feels richer and more controlled. If you’re willing to adjust the EQ, these can sound genuinely impressive. Noise Cancellation: The ANC is shockingly good for this price range. It cuts out low‑frequency noise, really well, perfect for commuting or working in a noisy environment. Voices still come through a bit, but overall, the noise reduction is strong enough that I can stay focused without blasting the volume. Battery Life: This is where the Anker Space 2 Headphones really shine. I’m easily getting 40–50 hours with ANC on, and even more with it off. I’ve gone for days without charging them. For travel or long work sessions, this is a huge win. Comfort: The earcups are soft and the headband feels light, so wearing them for hours isn’t a problem. The only downside is that they can get a little warm after extended use. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind. Features & Connectivity: Multipoint works smoothly—I can switch between my laptop and phone without any fuss. LDAC support is a nice bonus if you want higher‑quality audio. The wear‑detection auto‑pause is also surprisingly reliable. What could be better: The default sound profile isn’t great (but fixable with EQ). They can get warm during long sessions. The 3D audio mode feels gimmicky. No water resistance, so not ideal for workouts. Bonus Features: Within the Soundcore App, there are a ton of listening modes, Soundscapes, Sleep Stories and even a Tinnitus Study for users that have hearing issues! Final Thoughts: If you want great ANC, huge battery life, and tons of features without spending $300+, the Soundcore Space 2 is absolutely worth it. They’re not perfect, but for the price, they deliver outstanding value. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs reliable everyday headphones for work, travel, or casual listening.

These are my first Anker “over the ear” headphones and I’m quite impressed. The comfort is great. I feel like I can wear these all day long without fatigue. I love the material and the earpads, I feel like Anker really focused on comfort with these Soundcore Space 2 headphones. The sound quality is fantastic. Great Bass, great mids and great highs. For the price, I feel like these are fantastic from a sound quality perspective. I also appreciate that these support Hi-Res Audio and the LDAC codec via Bluetooth 6.1. Call quality is also great with these. I can hear who I'm talking to with ease and they can hear me regardless of the background noise in my environment which I thought was excellent. Battery life is phenomenal and as advertised. I haven't worn these long enough in a single period to completely drain the battery. They have lasted me 7+ days with my usage without the need to charge them. One cool feature of these is that they have a wear sensor inside them and you can configure the wear sensor via the app. The ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) is pretty good. I wouldn't say it's as good as some of the more premium tier headphones but I think for these mid range headphones it's pretty good. One thing I would say is somewhat of a downside to these headphones is the plastic materials they are made out of. It just seems a little low quality. I would say the proper way to describe it would be unrefined. But I don't think I can expect premium materials from mid tier headphones. All in all, I really like these headphones and I feel more comfortable wearing them and taking them places as opposed to $300+ headphones having to worry that I’m going to scratch them or lose them. They perform exceptionally well and I would highly recommend them.

Overall, the Anker Soundcore Space 2 is a comfortable, over the ear headphones, that looks good. It's easy to throw it into it's included sack carry case and into your luggage or backpack for a day's adventure. The sound quality is also good enough for most people. The noise cancellation feature is always a welcome addition to most travel headphones. Battery life is also decent, just depends on your use of noise cancellation. Being able to quick charge this from zero to 4 hours of playback in 5 minutes is also a plus. For my detailed sound quality. It has great LDAC and HiRes audio features that make audio sound crisp and clear. Bass is missing a bit more thump but for the price bracket of these headphones, it passes. I can see this being my everyday go to for traveling from home to office or for when needing to get on a plane and I don't want to bring my more expensive headphones along. Bonus: It's nice to be able to connect to two Bluetooth devices. I have my cell phone and my work laptop linked up. The 3 built in mics that pickup environment noise is also nice to have. This helps the AI filter out your environment in order to have your caller hear you more clearly rather than be distracted with your surroundings.

Off the top, the five main categories that I think are important when buying headphones are noise cancellation and I give it five stars then there sound quality I give it four stars then there’s comfort and depending on how long you wear them for a flight I would give it five stars all day gaming. I would give it four stars and then the battery life because they are such a minimal headset and they’re not overworking. I would give the battery life five stars so you add all of that up and overall these are a 4 1/2 star quality set of headphones. You’re not gonna get a premium sound, but you also won’t get anything that’s annoying or unbearable. You actually get a pretty good sound quality This is great for students or people who travel and I sometimes use them at my desk when the workspace gets a little noisy. Syncing them up with my phone was super easy and I got them up and running in no time. The only thing that I’m not a fan of is the bag that it comes with For carrying around it doesn’t protect the the headphones in its entirety. It’s more like a help them not get dirty, but you can’t throw them in your bag because they will get smooshed. I get hot very easy and so the ear cups, real leather, which make my ear is it around my ear sweat very easily again if I’m nitpicking at small stuff like this, I would go down to four stars but with this budget, you are getting a better quality headset that’s a couple of levels away from a really nice set. The app is really nice and well built out. They pretty much thought of everything, especially when it comes to equalizing the sound. I’ve never had an issue with fast charging my headphones, and these are no exception.

The Soundcore Space 2 wireless BT noise cancelling headphones by Anker are an OK entry level with some issues: Pros: Build quality seems good Noise cancelling works well, so does transparency mode Mic is OK headrest is comfortable Connecting to different devices is quick and easy App is useful to improve sound quality controls are well placed volume is good sound quality is fine, nothing to write home about Cons Ear cups feel sticky like suction cups the headphones run very warm after a while the ear cops are somewhat small, not the same size as my other 5 headphones Battery doesn't last like the advertised 70 hours, not even half that. I need to take brakes while wearing them because of the suction effect because of the material that is silicone like thats used for the ear cups and because they run warm for a casual game, they are good. but not for anything serious or long. I doubt i'll be able to use them on medium to long flights. Price is a bit high for these provide i took a few days break from them and gave them another chance yesterday and i didn't like the feel or them. I was rooting for them to be comfortable and reliable but they need more work.

I have several models of Soundcore headphones including earbuds and over the ear headphones. The output of these Space 2 headphones is excellent. I have the Sony 1000MX6 and the Bose Ultra headphones and these easily compete with those when it comes to sound. The ANC is not as good as the Sony or Bose but for headphones listing for 129 dollars the ANC is still very good. Having several high end models of headphones, I feel that these compete with those models and would have purchased these instead knowing what I know now. As I stated, the sound is excellent when listening to music. I have not used them to answer calls so I cannot speak for call sound quality. I listen primarily to classic rock and some hard rock and I can tell you that the bass has a nice thump and feel that it is better than the Sony's and the treble's are crisp as well which is hard to accomplish. Seems like headphones typically either have really good highs or lows and not both. The Space 2 headphones have a really good balance of both but you can adjust the levels with the app. I have not tested battery life but my other Soundcore headphones exceed the stated battery life so I have no reason to believe that the Space 2 headphones will not meet or exceed the stated battery life before having to charge, The headphones are very comfortable and they seem to be very sturdy. The controls are easy to use and the application which I installed on an Android phone was very useful and allowed me to fine tune the settings although I found the sound out of the box to be very good, I did not feel a need to adjust the bass or treble. The other thing that I really like about the headphones is the option to listen to the built in soothing sounds such as the rainstorm, blizzard or babbling brook. I found the rain to be very relaxing and of course you can adjust the volume to a level that is right for you. This is a nice feature that none of my other headphones offer. I also like the fact that they have physical buttons on the ear cups to adjust ANC and volume levels, etc. Not a fan of the haptic touch adjustments on the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra headphones. The stems that connect to the ear cups are metal and add to the sturdiness of the headphones. Not sure how long the cushions on the ear cups will last but they seem to be made of good quality materials. There were no issues with the volume ability of the headphones. I like to listen to Rock at increased levels and had no issues getting to that volume level and still had about 20% more volume available. I did have a couple of instances where the sound cut out for a note or two while listening but was not enough of an issue to reduce my rating. It only happened once on a couple of songs that I listened to. My internet cuts out at times so it might have just been my wireless connection to the internet. I understand that the headphones did not come with a hard case based on the cost but did come with a travel pouch to store them in. A hard case is available on Soundcore's web site for I believe about 40 dollars so that is a nice option. I highly recommend these headphones and would immediately replace them if something were to happen to them. Hope this review helps.

For what you pay for these headphones, it almost feels like I'm getting over in the deal! These sound very, very good and punch way above their weight! These are better than 'touch and swipe' controls because the buttons are so tactile and easy to remember their placements. I highly recommend them for those who are on a budget but still want to have great sound quality and functionality.

I love these. Comfortable, and the noise cancellation is great. I love how you can turn off the noise cancellation to hear what's going on around you while listening to music/podcasts or talking on the phone if you want to. No complaints!

The Soundcore by Anker “Space 2” Headphones are an excellent product that works well and has some unique features that I found very useful. They are rechargeable through a USB-C connection, for which a cable is supplied but not the charging adapter. Battery life is long even when using ANC (Automatic Noise Cancellation) and a fairly short charging time of 15 minutes or so yields several hours of usage. There are buttons for power, bluetooth pairing, and volume, plus a “multi-function” button that has several usages and can be configured via the soundcore app. The headphones fold up into a compact shape and a carry bag is included. Bluetooth pairing is very easy since there is a dedicated button for it. When first powered on, the headphones go into pairing mode automatically, but additional devices can be paired by just pressing the button for a couple of seconds. The headphones support two simultaneous connections and switch automatically between them. Pairing from a smartphone is done in the standard way, and recent Android versions will automatically detect them and offer to pair them. Once paired, there are a number of settings and options available after installing the Soundcore app from your usual app store. One thing that I appreciated about the app is that, although it encourages you to create an account, it does not require one in order to have full functionality. I have quite enough device-related accounts as it is! The headphones can also be directly connected to an audio source using a standard audio cable, and one of those is also provided. This is one of the features that makes them a good choice for air travel. The headphones have padded ear cups and are also padded where they contact the top of your head. They don’t appear to extend all that far, but I have a particularly large head and they fit with no problems. Like any full-coverage ANC headphones, they might tend to feel sweaty on your ears in warm weather. The ANC button can be used to cycle through the available modes that include full ANC, “hear-through”, and Off. The noise cancellation is very good and outside sounds will barely intrude if you are listening to something while wearing them. Not being much of an audiophile, I can’t say much in detail about the sound quality except to say that it sounds very, very good to me. There are some adjustments that can be made via the app, but I was content to leave all that alone. The feature that I have personally found most useful so far is the “Nap” mode. When put into this mode, the headphones automatically engage ANC and start playing a “white noise” type of soundtrack that is built into the device. There is a choice of four different sounds and of course the volume can be adjusted. The potential problem here, as I found out, is that, with ANC on while listening to sounds of gently falling rain, an external alarm is probably not going to wake you up! Fortunately, they solved this by supporting a settable timer on the device that will sound an alarm through the headphones after an interval selected via the app. The app calls it the "Power Off Timer" but it is also the nap duration timer. In summary, these are a great product with some useful features and will definitely be my new choice for air travel in the future.
