I purchased this to replace my old iPad mini (that was the original iPad mini!). I have waited a long time but it was worth it! I have not used all the features, but so far I love it. Everything is so fast on it! Of course, the main reason I got it was to Facetime with our family that lives on the west coast. The screen is beautiful - my husband recently watched a football game on it and couldn't get over how fantastic the picture was! I am sure it has technological abilities that I may never use, but the bottom line is that I have had other tablets, different brands, and this one by far is the best!

This was a replacement for a 3rd generation IPad. I like the size of the mini, much easier to carry around, put into my purse or travel case. This is so much faster than my old one and couldn't be happier.

It's the first thing I grab when I leave my home. I use it throughout the day. Glad I made the decision to replace my older one. This one enables me to also 'color' with the pencil, which is a very relaxing break for me. I Love It!!

Love the new iPad but it was sold with a discount to activate a Verizon cellular plan. Unfortunately this iPad CANNOT get Verizon cellular service. After an hour and a half, multiple Verizon customer service agents, tech support and a Apple tech support agent we figured this out. Verizon wanted me to return it so they could free me from the contract and activation fees but after my insistence, and a great service rep they were gracious enough to say I could keep the device and not pay the fees. So I am just using WiFi.

Much faster and lighter that early versions. Old version was not able to run alot of programs and apps
