I purchased this laptop mainly to do work online, and manage all my cloud files and to transfer original music out of my iPod nano. And then I started seeing how buttery smooth the MacBook really was and started benchmarking Rise of the Tomb Raider on ultra settings. Because it is a fanless laptop, the frame rate throttles if there's not enough airflow. So I bought a cooling pad and lifted it off my lap to let the heat out and now Rise of the tomb raider runs buttery smooth at ultra settings at 30 fps at like 920p. I like how the 15 inch M2 version has 2 more cores, which is the one I got. It really improves it for gaming, even though I got it for music production. Will keep it eternally.

This laptop is absolutely gorgeous. This is my first MacBook and this one is refurbished. I was a little hesitant about that but a friend of mine who has one convinced me of it’s durability and performance. I highly recommend if you are unable to purchase a New one this is still a great way to go. Apple backs all of their product designs. I’m already looking for a second unit. The color is Midnight-I thought that it would have been black, but it’s a Midnight blue. It’s beautiful.
