Excellent piece of technology. Perfect screen/device size. Very light and easy to use. Nice OS. I didn't care much about retina displays but now that I have one I can see a world of difference; it's absolutely worth it. Very expensive! I bought it only because I was gifted with a VERY hefty best buy gift card :)

I have really enjoyed using this product and would highly recommend it. It is very thin and light. Easy to use and supports all the great apps you have come to know if you are an Iphone user. Although the newer the better is the rule with Apple products, if you can't afford the Ipad Air 2, this is the Ipad for you. I would suggest getting the cellular 3G capability model if you plan to use it away from home and work. Otherwise, you can't use internet.

I pad is easy to operate. Great application, camera, clear picture because of Retina. Easy users guide. Great speed. Very good speakers for music.

Overall, Im happy with the tablet and the cellular service that goes along with it. I bought this for personal and business use, but more so for my kids to also enjoy it. I have had an android tablet prior to this and it was great but when software upgrades came about....the tablet ceased to function properly. Hence the change up. Even though the price is high but it will last me and my family for a couple of yrs, even with upgrades to the software.

This is my first ipad, I have been watching tablets from the first ipad. Frankly, this should have been the first ipad, easy to hold, compact and easy to use (ofcourse its from Apple). Signed up for the free T-Mobile data plan and it was very easy to do so right from the iPad. Battery life is excellent so far (mixed WiFi and cellular use), easily lasts up a whole day with light to moderate use (less gaming, more browsing) Best part is cellular versions are all one now, you can buy from any provider and use on any switching the SIM card (I actually bought the AT&T one and used the T-Mobile SIM) Size is deceptive, but this size is perfect for browsing, wish it was a tad lighter with the case for pro longed one hand use, but its a good one to hold right now, probably the best in its class.

I purchased this iPad to replace an older iPad 2. As this model was out of production there was a $100 instant rebate for the WiFi/Cellular model with activation. It's a great unit that serves my needs. Only one CAUTION... Make sure you tell the salesperson YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE THE PHONE COMPANY "FINANCE" PLAN. If you do, you don't get the $100 rebate AND pay full retail for the iPad. In my case I paid just over $400 (tax included after rebate) cash, instead of $749 if I had accepted "interest free" payments with ATT. Putting it on most credit cards and paying it off over 2 years will probably not cost nearly $350 in interest!

This is my third iPad. I sold my iPad 4th gen because I THOUGHT I wanted to go back to a Windows product. Big mistake. I used the Windows tablet for a couple of years and couldn't take it any more. Best decision ever to go back to an iPad. Call it a senior moment, but now I am back to all IOS devices! The clarity and ease of use should sell itself.

I love my new IPad Air. It is so much faster than my old IPad. The battery lasts longer before I have to charge it again.

I like the size and weight. Good size for travel easy fit in bad without the weight also gives decent size screen

I've had iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad Retina and now iPad Air. It just keeps getting better. I admit it - I'm an Apple FanBoy, but it's easy to be. They keep giving me exactly what I want, maybe a little later than I want it, but the wait is always worth it. I started with Apple products with an Apple IIGS in 1988 and since then have always had Apple products in my house.

The iPad Air brings a completely new and improved experience for tablet users. For starters it really does feel so much lighter and thinner than previous models that it leaves you saying "Wow!" It also features the new A7 64-bit chip which means more power and more speed. The amount of apps available are unparalleled making the possibilities for use endless. Personally, as a student, I find the iPad Air incredibly useful for note-taking, word processing, presentations, sharing, and reading. Not to mention being able to take a study break with entertainment such as movies, music, games, etc. if you're looking for a high-end tablet with versatile features and powerful hardware wrapped in a beautifully thin design then look no further than the iPad Air.

We like the iPad for ease of use, integration with our other iOS devices. The resolution is fantastic, quality of the device is outstanding. Long lasting battery life. We're using the newest AT&T 10 gb data plan and have all of our devices on the plan: 5 iPhones and 2 iPads.

Cellular connection is very useful to have when you are traveling. I was in Japan for a week so I signed up for a T-Mobile tablet plan ($20/mo) which comes with free international data roaming. Another advantage of the cellular model over the Wi-Fi model is that it comes with GPS so you could use the iPad for navigation which is very handy. All cellular iPads are unlocked so can buy any version and get a SIM from the carrier of your choice. You can also often find them for almost the same price as a Wifi only model. (the older generation like this iPad Air). Carriers often have promotions if you add a tablet to your family shared plan as well.

Love it overall but two main disappointments: 1)screen still drops and returns randomly to home page, this used to happen more frequently with my old version. 2) I have the dataplan... and ever since i activated it, it gets stuck between using wifi and dataplan when both are available and causes no connection at all. i've had to reboot it to fix this issue. Has been annoying. however, when wifi is not available, the dataplan works great, in the car, anywhere. If not for those two issues, I love the ipad, it's light, screen quality is great, and it's fast when working properly.
