I have used several tablets, starting with the first Android Tablet and the first IPad long ago. I've had almost all the tablets that you could have had, Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, etc...Although I prefer android os to iOS - there is a superb quality that can't be beat when you own an Apple. Apple got it right with the size, the weight, and the function of this device. I have the cell enabled, because I use it for school and business. As usual, the only drawbacks for this device is - hunting and pecking on the keyboard, since Apple will not allow 3rd party keyboards- like Swype - and you cannot integrate any 3rd party keyboards with Apple platforms- and the only other thing that I miss from Android are my widgets. If this device had those two functions, it would be perfection. I solve this by having an Android phone- I detest the IPhone! But when it comes to function and quality Apple always wins. I chose the 64 g because I knew this device would be around for a long time, not like the fickle Android devices- so I made sure I would have plenty of space. The only downside is the price- but you get what you pay for-

This is my second iPad Mini Retina and I love it. It has the best form factor for me and it's easier to carry around than the regular sized iPad. It's very fast and with 64Gb I have plenty of storage. This is the Mini 2, so like the 3rd version it does not have the latest processor found in the iPad Air 3. It did not matter to me since I use mostly for accessing content: newspapers, the web, music etc... It's a solid well designed Apple product and I'm very happy with it.

The iPad Mini 2 is a fine, compact tablet. I bought the Verizon version, as I will soon be traveling a lot, and won't always have access to WiFi. The screen quality is excellent, with vibrant colors that just "pop" in front of your eyes. The processor is also very fast. I also have a full size iPad, but the Mini will be easier to transport in my travels.

The iPad mini is very nice , great for on the go smaller lite weight. Everything my iPad air has but smaller easier to travel with. I love my ipads

The battery last all day plus more. Screen is great. Fit and finish is second to none. Its super fast compared to my PC. This is the tablet to buy.

I decided on the IPad mini 2 with Retina Display. I wanted one that would use Verizon, and also something larger than 16 GB. I found one with 64 GB online but had to drive 100 miles (each way) to get it by Christmas. I have been using it. I like the size, and even the on-screen typing is okay. I did buy the ZAGG case with keyboard, which is a great feature.

The tablet is very light. Good performance. Perfect size for traveling. Exactly what I want. I would recommend it for anyone who want a small size tablet.

If you have been thinking about an iPad mini, this is the time to buy the mini retina(2). If you don't need your mini in gold or with fingerprint recognition(mini3), this is the best price for the same performance found in the new mini3. Great price, great product. I am finding the smaller size much more convenient than my full size iPad. If you primarily use your iPad to watch videos or have to perform alot of input functions, go with the added screen size of a full size iPad. For all else, especially traveling, I would recommend a mini.

I've had an iPad2 as well as another older version of the iPad Mini. I have Rhuematoid Arthritis and found the iPad2.a,little to heavy for me to use easily. With the iPad Mini it's lite enough and compact,enough that I can put it in my purse. I wouldn't use the iPad2'as much as I would have liked due to the weight of it. That's why I'm an avid lover and user of the iPad Mini.

Always liked the size of the mini over the full size iPad. Noticiple performance boost and it was on sale too. Same specs as the mini 3 except for the finger print recognition. Liked the customer service.

The mini is a perfect size for travelling. The screen size is great for reading and email. The only thing I don't like is the new power supply cord. It would have been nice to keep it compatible with the older IPad and iPhones.

Small enough to sit on yo most bags and light enough to hold in one hand and no be to bulky on an air plain.

I love my iPad mini with retina display. It's really the perfect size for me. It's easy to carry in a backpack or purse, lightweight to hold for reading or game play, and works perfectly for my needs. I also love the retina display that makes the photos look so much nicer than my older model original iPad.

I have wanted an iPad for quite some time, and it finally went on sale...(read fell within my budget). The display is great...I love the size...the battery life is really good (turn off location services unless you need them). Overall this is a great value!

I had a Galaxy Tab 10.1 prior to an iPad, but with the support of the iOS app store and variability in Android tablets it was really down to a full-size iPad or a Mini when I was in the market for a replacement. I bought this right when the new iPads came out since they were relatively similar specs without the Touch ID, which wasn't worth the extra cost. And this came in the 64GB model, which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm really happy with my choice, as this is the perfect size for holding in one hand and for traveling -- no need to worry about a bigger screen for such a little return.

I bought this for my daughter with the cellular plan and it's great. Our internet tends to go in and out and it's always when she has homework that is due online - go figure! Would definitely recommend and it's small enough to put in your purse!

Updated from iPad2. Very happy & love that it fits in my purse easily.
