Q: What does the term "Unlocked" mean? How does one lock or unlock a phone, and why would one do that?
A: An unlocked phone gives you the ability to take your phone and phone number to any carrier and change back and forth between carriers. The locked phones are only have service with one carrier. Sometimes that one carrier is paying the bonus offer to get you with their company or to make you sign a contract with them.
A: Yes! It is pretty much the same size, honestly it is a tiny bit smaller even. But it is thicker, so it seems about the same size, but has the edge to edge screen which is awesome. I did that exact upgrade :)
