The charger would only go to a max of 100 watts though it says 140 watts on it. This means it’s not capable of PD 3.1 and is an off brand charger that doesn’t do what is advertised. After trying a different brand, it worked. Also the computers condition was okay. Had a pixel out, barely noticeable and some imperfections on case. This is not a refurbished laptop. Refurbished means all broken components are repaired. It’s more of a used laptop…. That being said, it was an okay deal. Amazon and eBay will offer better deals. Best Buy does have a warranty though. Aside from this the actual laptop is great. Max processors are great for video editing or any graphics heavy tasks. I’m a 17 year MBP owner and I can say 400GB/s on memory frequency is a lot. The M4 max, if spec is at the highest will go to 540GB/s. This is much more than normal users need. For most users the pro and standard m processors are plenty. I have to give it a lower score, as the laptops condition wasn’t as advertised.

Bought this for my wife to use as her business laptop and edit photos for her photography business. This thing EATS exports, imports, Lightroom, you name it. Some will say overkill for just editing and such, but if you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on the Gen 4 chips, this is JUST as good. She was coming from a 2016 model. Absolutely worth the money. M1 chip with 32 gig ram is a tank. 10/10 would recommend.

I needed a new Mac, and prices today are hard to swallow. But the M1 Max still holds up. I haven’t had any performance issues, nor do I notice its age. The unit I received had 88% battery capacity and just a few exterior blemishes- not even that noticeable. Very happy!

Great condition. 1 star less because the magsafe charger wasn't part of the packaging. Instead, a 3rd party throwaway charger was part of the package.

Display went bad after 5 months and Best Buy won’t help me.
