I purchased this phone for nearly $1,000 after taxes and expected a quality device. Unfortunately, the rear camera has not worked properly since I received it. After spending time troubleshooting and contacting support, I was informed that the camera issue was related to a non-Apple part. What makes this experience even more disappointing is the 15-day return window. As a full-time working mother, I was dealing with significant family and health-related responsibilities during that time and was not able to immediately stop everything to complete a return. Fifteen days is simply not enough time to discover, troubleshoot, and resolve a major defect on such an expensive purchase. The only option offered was an exchange, which would have left me without a phone. For someone who relies on a phone daily for work, family communication, school-related matters, and emergencies, that is not a realistic solution. A phone in this price range should not have a defective camera, and customers should be given more flexibility when dealing with a product issue that was present from the beginning. I am very disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service experience. I would not recommend this phone based on my experience.
