Besides the apple ecosystem’s seamless integration, it is a very good daily and all in one device. I usually turn off jargon notifications and have important ones enable on the watch so I am not buzzed every second. Health tracking is the second major reason I bought it, gives a very good insight in my day and keeps me in check on my daily fitness goals. Display is big enough to text someone in emergency if your phone battery dies it feels comfortable to type on. Display is very bright in well lit areas and outdoors as well never had a problem reading it. Speakers and mic are very good can take calls and the person on call can hear clearly. Hand gestures like the two finger tap is a party trick never really used it much. Might have swung my hand and hit it on walls, tables numerous times still intact. Its rugged, its tactile. Overall: The must haves on the device are all 5/5. The few good to haves like the hand gestures are 4/5 as well. From an average user standpoint this is as good as it gets.

I’ve been using the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for a few weeks, and overall, it’s a powerhouse of a smartwatch. The build quality is fantastic, with a rugged titanium frame that feels durable yet lightweight. I particularly liked the large, bright display, which is easy to read even in direct sunlight—a big plus for outdoor workouts. One standout feature is the advanced health and fitness tracking. The ultra-precise GPS, heart rate monitoring, and new depth sensor make it a perfect companion for serious athletes or adventurers. Battery life is significantly improved compared to other Apple Watch models, lasting up to 36 hours on a single charge, which is impressive for this type of device. However, I found the price point to be a bit steep for casual users who may not need all the advanced features. If you’re not heavily into fitness or extreme sports, the regular Apple Watch models could offer more value for money. Additionally, while the performance is smooth, some apps still feel a bit slow to load, which was unexpected for such a premium product. Overall, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is ideal for those who need robust fitness tracking and durability, but might be overkill for everyday users.

Best Buy delivered not only a fantastic product but also a positive shopping experience, and I highly recommend both the store and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 to anyone in the market for a top-tier smartwatch."

I picked up the Apple Watch Ultra 2 from Best Buy about a month ago, upgrading from a standard Series 8. Long story short: I should have done this sooner. The Watch (10/10) You notice the difference the second you unbox it. The 49mm Titanium case feels solid without being annoyingly heavy. I’m pretty clumsy, and the flat sapphire screen has already survived a few direct hits on door frames that would have shattered my old watch. The battery life is the real game changer. I can easily get two full days of heavy use (GPS, sleep tracking, notifications) before needing a charge. The screen hits 3000 nits of brightness, which sounds like overkill until you try to read a map in direct July sunlight—then it’s a lifesaver. If you are on the fence because of the price, Best Buy tends to run solid deals on these. It’s expensive, sure, but the GPS is super accurate and the Action button is genuinely useful for starting workouts. The Screen Protector (4/5) Because I love the flat sapphire screen, I was terrified to scratch it. I grabbed an ESR Armorite screen protector from the Best Buy accessories aisle. Installation was dead simple thanks to the tray. The glass is smooth (feels just like the actual screen) and the touch sensitivity hasn't dropped at all. My only half-star deduction? Dust does eventually collect right on the edge of the protector because the Ultra 2 has that slight lip, but you barely notice it when the screen is on. For the peace of mind, it’s a must-buy. Verdict If you want a watch that doesn't need to be babied and you hate watching your battery tick down, buy the Ultra 2. Just make sure you grab that screen protector on the same trip to keep that gorgeous titanium looking new. Pros: · Battery lasts for days. · Screen is insanely bright and big. · Titanium build feels premium and rugged. Cons: · It is a chunky watch (small wrists beware). · Dust magnet around screen protector edges.

Performance and Battery Life: The Ultra 2 has a more powerful chip and extends battery life up to 36 hours, significantly outperforming the Series 6's 18 hours. Features: Both models excel in health tracking, but the Ultra 2 adds enhanced GPS, a louder siren, and emergency satellite connectivity, making it better suited for extreme sports and adventures. Price: The Ultra 2 is pricier, reflecting its advanced features and durability for demanding use. Conclusion: The Ultra 2 is ideal for adventure enthusiasts needing a durable, feature-rich watch. The Series 6 remains a great option for everyday fitness and use at a more affordable price point.
