Offering exceptional cooling performance, the Tundra Series cooler insert is a mess-free alternative to bagged ice. When it thaws it doesn't leave a mess, eliminating the hassle of leaks and soggy foods. The reusable cooler insert features PureTemp, a non-toxic, biodegradable phase-change material (PCM) derived from plants. PureTemp maintains a constant temperature within your cooler for efficient cooling that lasts all day. A high-performance ice substitute, its rugged, expanded surface area provides exceptional cooling capacity and efficiency. Tundra Series ice packs have a unique freezing point of 5 degrees Fahrenheit to help maintain a consistent freezer temperature in coolers. They are great for transporting frozen meat, fish, ice cream and more. You can also use a Tundra Series pack as a suitable replacement for dry ice. The 1.5 lb. ice pack is ideal for camping, hunting, fishing, and boating trips. For optimal performance, freeze the freezer pack for 18 to 36 hours, depending on the temperature of freezer and the number of panels being frozen. To ensure freezing, the freezer should be turned to its lowest setting or at least 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
