Extremely easy to AIMESH. I took it out of the box, Connected power to it. While I waited for it to boot, I accessed by the ASUS admin on my GT_AX11000. I clicked the third tab down on the left and started the AIMESH. The system found it and I followed the prompts. Minutes later after the connection was complete, I moved the node router, the RT_AX92U to it new home the previously dead zone in the garage. Great Speed. Excellent connection.

Added this as my first mesh point to an ROG AX11000 router. It took less than 3 minutes to add it to the network as a mesh point and configure it for ethernet backhaul. I now have full speed in all parts of my house and latency/ping is identical whether I am testing through the router of via the mesh AP. Very impressed.
