I needed a laptop that could do everything — work, gaming, AI stuff, and travel. I actually meant to buy the older 2025 model with a dedicated/discrete GPU, but clicked the wrong one and ended up with this. Honestly… not mad about it. This thing is fast, the screen is beautiful, and it handles AI tasks way better than I expected. It’s super light for a gaming laptop, and the battery life is solid. I’ve been running ComfyUI, Ollama, LM Studio, VTube Studio, DaVinci Resolve, gaming on the side, and doing work calls without any hiccups. Three things that stand out: Battery life: Battery life has been consistently around 6–7 hours for normal work, and about 4–5 hours when I’m running AI tools or heavier apps. Gaming drops it to around 2–3 hours, which is expected for a 165Hz panel. Speed & performance: The Ryzen AI Max+ 392 is extremely fast — apps open in about a second, AI workloads run noticeably quicker than my older Ryzen 9, and gaming/creative performance sits around 90–140 FPS at 1080p or 60–100 FPS at 1440p, depending on the title. Multitasking with 32GB RAM feels effortless. BTW: You can adjust the dedicated VRAM for Gaming, Video Editing, and AI with a few tweaks and a restart (up to 24 GB VRAM). You can also upgrade the Storage up to 4TB! For AAA gaming, AI models, and large videos, you are going to need it sooner or later. Display quality: The WQXGA 165Hz display is one of the best parts — around 400‑nit brightness, near‑DCI‑P3 color coverage, and a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate that makes both gaming and scrolling feel buttery. The only real complaint? You’re not repairing this thing, not without precise soldering (don’t try it unless you know exactly what you’re doing). It’s basically a “use it as‑is” laptop. If something breaks, you’re going through the warranty — period. Still, for the price and performance, it’s a beast. Accidental purchase or not, I’m keeping it.

This laptop is fantastic, First gaming laptop that didn't thermal throttle out of box! but the GPU performance was a letdown it performs more like an RTX 4050/5050 and couldn't match half the frame rates of my RTX 4070 laptop. However, the CPU is incredible, doubling the performance of my older 7940HS and 13620H chips. It feels similar to a G14, but with an overall better build and the reliability of the TUF brand. I got my last one for $1,299.99, and if the price goes down, I'd be very tempted to buy it again.
